And there's NOTHING race-baiting about making a point of referring to black people as "pimps".

Oh, don't you know that's true? And all Black women are Welfare Queens! (Sarcasm)

Well at least he didn't play the Shaft theme song while he said it.

Are Black people capable of racism? Yes. Intimidation at the polls is wrong no matter who does it. Have Whites intimidated people at the polling place? Yes. But the exception is that White racists have had the force of law behind their intimidation. The Arizona " papers please" law will have that effect. Some Hispanics will be challenged at the polling place and if their papers are "not in order" they can be arrested. That means if their drivers license has expired or is not on their person when they go to vote. THEY CAN GO TO JAIL! Do you think, Quinn, that will have a damping effect on Hispanic voter participation this November? All this with the full backing of the state government. Not some stick carrying idiot, who was prosecuted by the way.

      "Race Baiting Poverty Pimps?"

Are we sure Quinn is back live, and this isn't a "Best Of" tape?

For the life of me, I can't figure out how one would pimp poverty in the first place. I'm trying to picture some sort of James O'Keefe lookalike out there on the street, whispering to passersby "Hey pal, I got a hot little piece of poverty over here, you interested?"

There seems to be a trend developing here. The Hate Radio Troglodytes are screaming "Racism" loudly and often. Maybe this is their way of deflecting attention from the increasingly racist nature of their own rhetoric.

Somebody once said, "The best defense is a good offense."

I dunno how "developing" it is; for years, the only time, say, Hannity has ever cried "racism" is when he's accusing a black person of it, and every time anyone else brings up an example of white-on-black racism he'll start sputtering about Tawana Brawley/Reverend Wright/whatever-the-hell paranoid white cause celebre he's stumbled on. Of course, I'm confused as to why they all seem so scared of this, since they've established that Racism is Over.

They're scared because there is a Black president. They need to further the notion that he only looks out for Black America. Watch any of the documentaries when they ask why certain people were not voting for Obama and many said he'd only help teh Blacks. Typical fear based politics. This story somehow confirm their paranoia.

I think a lot of them have heard the prediction that Whites will be a minority in this country within 50 years, and it scares them sh*tless.

Yea, I think it is. I have quite a few Republican friends who have voiced some rather tactless, racist ideas over the last month or so. Racism, so it seems, is going mainstream in the Republican party. That is what happens when you let the inmates start to run the asylum.
