      Lardbutt wouldn't be be a talk-show host if he weren't a loud-mouthed, brain-dead, bigoted hatemonger.

He might, instead, be a productive member of society.

Well, his daddy was a lawyer, so he probably would have ended up as a clerk in Daddy's law firm... he definitely wasn't smart enough to be a lawyer.

Funny I thought he was voted because he didn't seem like a little old man trying to chase kids off the lawn.

But what do I know? I'm not American, so I'll have to defer to the expertise of Rush. :P

I thought I voted for him because of the old guy and the Barbie he selected to show off her tatas to the mindless minions. McCain showed the same judgment in selecting her as the manager of a stripper club . . .

That's why I voted for him . . . wasn't my choice, but there was NO WAY IN HECK I would vote for a man who cynically pushed the Bore of Babble-on into the limelight. I mean, I supported McCain in 2000 and would have, most likely, voted for him in 2008 . . . with Palin as his running mate . . . NEVER.

Right. Because being black has historically been such a benefit to people in the U.S. /sarcasm, in case it wasn't obvious

Seriously, though, I think this is part of a program of convincing loser white people that they're the real oppressed group in this country, that their failure has nothing to do with the plutocratic economic policies that they themselves voted for.

They did the same thing during the Civil War. Most of the southern soldiers who died in the war weren't slave owners. Instead, they just wanted to keep their social/economic position above blacks, as tenuous as that was.

Nope, because as long as he continues to spew them, the same 25%ers will continue to believe him and to believe that his crap represents conservatism. It doesn't. Shoot, RUSH doesn't even believe this crap.

I know he doesn't. Bill Press said he can imagine Limbaugh laughing in between comm breaks and saying, "I can't believe I just said all that."

Except in Texas. He's one of the new stars in the Texas social studies textbooks, along with Schafly, Barber, Beck, O'Reilly, Armey Reed, and many, many other "conservatives" who have had a "major" influence on Americans politics.

Forget about the fact that Think Progress reported last week that Texas doesn't have the money to pay for these "revised" social studies textbooks. Since I'm a retired social studies teachers, it gave me extreme pleasure to read that the "conservative" heavy social studies textbook curriculum committee were successful in changing it, but the state doesn't have the money to buy the books.

Karma is a mean, vengeful old byotch.

But from what I hear about the dynamics of textbook selection, doesn't this mean a lot of other states will be stuck with these propagandistic books?

Thanks, Limpy for confirming what we liberals and democrats have thought all along. Racism is one of the factors motivating some of the members of your party to go nuts any time President Obama's name is mentioned. After all, in your minds, the residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is not called the White House for nothing.

This statement coming from Limpy today reminds me of a picture I received in an email back in 2008 of a guy on a motorcycle that had a sign that read, "It's not called the White House for nothing, Ni993r!."
