And I'll never say "Slimebrenner" again.
But love him or hate him (and it's easy to do either whether your a Yankees fan or not) you cannot deny the impact he's had on the game and the business of sports entertainment. Anyone with a shred of class should be able to able put there personal feelings aside for a single day. I'm hardly surprised that LImbaugh was incapable of that.

IMHO
And when Rush dies, we will say, "That coward made a lot of hatred."
Something you'll NEVER get to do in the NFL, Limpy.
Jealous?
Hey Mr. Creosote, care to tell us how many African-Americans managed the Yankees in the 38 years Mr. Steinbrenner owned the team? That would be zero. How many African-Americans he hired as general manager? That would be one, Bob Watson (as an Astros fan, one of my favorite players) for a couple of years in the late 90s.
What Rush is saying here in his covert way, is that a white man made the African Americans rich, and without the white man contributions they would have never made it. It's the same as the other racist argument Rush has saying that slavery benefited African Americans.
Even in death Rush finds a way to offend.
not like Bernie had any talent or anything...........
. . . and provided a few then-prepubescent Dominican boys with pocket money . . .
yes it has to be that steinbrenner felt bad. no black baseball player has talent.
Or Derek Jeter {don't forget, he's biracial} . . .
