Actually you are wrong, I listened to the new tapes released just yesterday on Fox regarding Gibson's behavior. Perhaps you should check your facts before you open your mouth.

          http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/07/13/mel-gibson-uses-racial-slur-new-leaked-audio-taped/

And I wonder how your bigoted friend nerzog feels about his hero Obama waiting for a divine hand from above coming down to help him in the gulf. The only question is , is it Allah's hand or Christ's hand he is waiting for. Since he has described himself as a Christian and also a Muslim it is hard to know for sure.

Hey fairliberal, how many times to you have to repeat your stupid "Obama waiting for a divine hand from above" crap? Obama is a CHRISTIAN which, is completely and totally irrelevant. There is NOTHING un-constitutional about a president exhibiting his religious beliefs, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindi or whatever . . . it's only un-constitutional if he asks Congress to pass legislation making HIS religious beliefs law.

Oh, and PLEASE, if you want people to click on your inane and usually irrelevant links, learn how to post them properly.

You have to be one of the most ignorant [deliberately uninformed, unread and unintelligent] twits I've ever seen.

As a Christian how do you feel when one of your bigoted pals mocks your God's crucifiction and death. The fact is that even in an anonymous forum you don't have the stones to speak up about it, you are gutless.

I think what nerzog was mocking was Mel Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ" which is a MOVIE that a lot of Progressive-Liberal Christians don't like, because of it's anti-semitic overtones or undertones.

"The Passion of the Christ" is a movie that a lot of Right-Wing Conservative Evangelical Fanatic Nutballs like.

Or that both religions are based on monotheism, believe in a day of judgment, and claim Abraham as a common ancestor.

And please, don't tell them that Muslims and Christians once had great respect and tolerance for each other, and that Christians were allowed to live in the Muslim Empire unmolested.

And for goodness sakes, don't tell them that there are Christians and Jews currently living in Iran and practicing their religion without interference.

See, they know for a FACT that all Muslims are SO intolerant of other religions, and will argue to the end that this is a fact.

No, she is phrasing it badly when she can't get two Fox regulars to agree with her stupidity.

What was interesting was how toned down she was today after yesterday's hissy fit. She was either given a little dressing down or she's buying into the scary black man tripe and didn't want Juan to go Shaft on her.

And please don't jump on me for this, but as a man I couldn't imagine having to come home each night to her. Pretty? Sure. Juan was making the EXACT SAME points that Kirsten Powers was making. Yet he wasn't even close to attacked for not knowing what he was talking about. She obviously got a dressing down for her "performance" yesterday. They called in the black contributors -- and Juan is a self described conservative democrat. This was some type of belated mea culpa on Fox's part. Now they'll pretend it never happened and feign being fair and balanced after yesterday's fiasco. So, so, transparent.

If we ran our justice system like that, there would be no need for trials or juries, we can just ask the defendants if they are guilty. Think of all the money we could save.

So instead we should run our justice system on the testimony of ONE person, who happens to be a GOP activist? Tell me, where is all the testimony of the alleged victims? IT DOESN'T EXIST! Of course, if Mr. Adams were progressive the Faux News would label him as "just another disgruntled ex-employee", if they bothered to give him any airtime at all.

No... wrong again, stupid. Powers says the DOJ testimony is relevant in the fact that an injunction was issued and that there is no evidence of voter intimidation.

I know this is difficult for the kooky-con to understand but... for voter intimidation to be proven in a court of law, there must be voters coming forward who were intimidated.

I know you, Faux news, and others would like to disappear that extremely important FACT... but as John Adams once said to other mouth-frothers back in days gone by "facts are stubborn things".

At what point do responsible members of the mainstream media start to report on this naked strategy of race-baiting on the right? Because that is clearly the real story to emerge out of this "scandal". This is another ham-fisted attempt at swift-boating a Democrat. Because remember folks, Obama is black, and he is definitely out to protect and defend racical black nationalists and their interests... Instead Fox has carte blanche, and the other MSM outfits will simply pick up on the meme, as they have already begun to do, without regard for the damage they are doing by carrying water for FNC and the radical-right it represents.

Why does Megyn keep referring to Adams as a "whistleblower". He's a planted, partisan hack, with an agenda so clear that it has to be visible even to Fox News. Yet over and over again, she refers to him as though he is some sort of "whistleblower" with a conscience.

Basically, the omission of the man's background is a matter of such moment, that I really do think it makes everything Megyn is putting out there on this fairly characterized as intentionally misleading. Lies, not to put too fine a point on it.

apparently they were not watching the same thing I saw, yesterday. Megyn Kelly didn't "smackdown" Powers. Kelly made herself look like she was uninformed. When one has to interrupt and shout down someone who is giving an opposing viewpoint, it shows that they have nothing. Kelly had nothing. Powers, on the other hand, conducted herself very well and, if you could get past Kelly's tirade, had more facts than Kelly's.

With such an intellectual and highly rational commentary, I guess I should rebut with the most intellectually equivalent phrase that jumps to mind:

I'm rubber...you're glue. Nanny Nanny Boo Boo.

            In Fox/rightwingnut world -- YES.

For them -- well, Bill O'Reilly at least -- a "discussion/disagreement" between two women would consist of them stripping down to bikinis and mud-wrestling on the set . . .

even though Juan Williams is usually pretty light with his criticism, he wiped the floor with Megan Kelly.

Thankfully he has a little bit of NPR credibility left in him.

And I liked how Kelly tried the ol 'maybe I'm not phrasing it properly' line. Good attempt to blame the problems with her fake outrage on the guests.

It's scary that Juan Williams and even O'Reilly are looking like leftists compared to the fearmongering fembots on FAUX.

CNN's Bernard Shaw might have asked Megan Kelly whether she should be forced to have the baby if she were raped by one of these club-wielding new black panthers she wants us to be afraid of?

Megyn Kelly is such a shill and sucker for GOP talking points... it's hilarious. She just constantly spouts propaganda, and hopes for one of her guests to buy it. When someone doesn't, like Mrs. Powers yesterday, she shouts them down until they tell her what she wants to hear. If she's trying to get a new prime-time spot on Fox, she's certainly well on her way.

By the way, I don't think she even goes on O'Reilly's show primarily to challenge him (shockingly enough, she has done it a little bit)... I see it as more of a way to practice how she can yell over somebody. And, if there is anybody that can teach you, it's Billo.

Some accuse those of "shedding light on this story of racial tension". Listen to how many times she describes the nonsense reporting as "shedding light on this story".

The propoganda is so obvious it's laughable.

Get rid of all sharp objects near you and wrap your head in bubble wrap before you do. Honestly it isn't worth it. 3 minutes of Fox News causes massive numbers of brain cells to leap to their deaths.

How is this "destroying" her argument??? That would entail showing actual facts. There were only opinions shown in this entire segment (from both sides).

I can't really grasp why we liberals still believe headlines like this. Juan Williams may have offered up a seriously good argument why the Fox rendition of this story lacks credibility, but "destroys" conjures up the idea that facts mean anything at all to Megan Kelly or anyone at Fox. It borders on delusional for liberals and progressives to pat themselves on the back for any perceived achievements in the realm of Fox News. I'm all for those who can actually work in facts to a Fox interview, but it's pretty much like whispering into a black hole.
