IIRC, in the fairytale, there was no wolf, but there are definitely wolves in among the regular TP folks, one of which goes by the name Stormfront.

Crowley says that by criticizing racism within tea party movement, NAACP is "going down this road of boy who cried wolf"

You know, if someone says something untrue and you want to call them on it, then you always just fire a direct shot and say "untrue" or "lie" or "false"... but when that someone hasn't really said anything untrue, then you might be vague and indirect, and you maybe make strange references to The Boy Who Cried Wolf for example.

That's one of the marks of liars and deceivers in trying to imply something that just isn't so (like in this case to imply that Fox television news and their phony political movement isn't racist or at least isn't using racism in their appeals), they speak indirectly and make strange references, and metaphors, they love to speak metaphorically!

They try and make impressions implicitly, without making explicit statements... like for example instead of saying something is false or untrue or a lie, they say something like you're "going down this road of the boy who cried wolf."

Plus, they throw in the term "boy" yet again in their worthless metaphor. Makes one wish for the return of Devil's Island, just reserved for the Lying Liars.

I watched this and there was another guest that tried to talk some sense into Crowley's head to no avail. He made the true points that yes there are some ugly elements in the Tea Party movement and yes they should be addressed. The NAACP said just that. They did not say the entire movement was racist and I'm sure there are one or two Tea Partiers that are not;-) But Ms. Crowley, like most Fox hosts, ignore facts and go for the hyperbolic grand stand. Sad. Please FCC make them take the News out of their title.

Wow, it really is an alternate universe over at Fox, where nothing exists if they don't acknowledge it.

It would be a little different if there were only reports of racists signs, or rumors of teabaggers making racist statements. They might be able to fool some sane people until the evidence surfaced, if that was the case.

But the racism in the Tea Party is well documented, on the news, on the web, maybe not being reported widely, but very available.

What sort of zombies make up the Fox audience ? Who the hell accepts a "boy who cried wolf" analogy to something that is true ?

Ugh! Does Crowley really think using the "Boy" who cried wolf could possibly be perceived as a poor choice of words? Probably not. I'm African American but, I don't see racism everywhere but, I've certainly seen and hear plenty of it in the signs that many of the Tea Party memmbers carry at their rallys. I love how the people on fox pretend that they don't see them. As Ed Schultz pointed out tonight, many of them were seen on fox news. They can feign ignorance all they like but, don't expect the rest of us to do so. All of my friend, blacks, whites and hispanics have noticed it too just as many of you guys here have. We're not crazy...they are.

I like the white haired white guy she calls "Ellis." Crowley is an idiot, but Ellis is reasonable. MMFA could have called the segment "Reasonable white guy appears on Fox to point out Crowley's stupidity" or "Crowley confuses reality with fairy tale; corrected by sane person" ir "Crowley: reality equals fairy tale; Ellis disagrees."

You gotta love how they bring a black man on the show who shares their point of view. As if this black man speaks for all black people. I've noticed they do it on all their programs, and their audience acts as though they just dined at a 5 star restaurant. It's despicable at best FAUX news!!! Faux never has in credible guest on any of their programming. They always seem to pull their minions from here and there to speak their talking points...IT'S DISGUSTING TV!!!
