That's like saying that Hannibal Lecter is not a Canibal, he was just a little hungry.

Hannity believe the more he says it, that makes it true. He is clueless.

Oh, he's not clueless. It's very calculated. There are people who run around parroting Hannity's lies as truth and no amount of REAL evidence to the contrary will change their minds. They see Hannity as someone with authority because he has a television program. If he says it, and says it often enough, in their minds it becomes unimpeachable truth. That's how propaganda works.

Yea, Sean, it's hard to have a dialogue with people who are in denial about their racism. I suspect most Teabaggers don't consider themselves racist...after all, they've never beaten a black person to death or participated in a lynching.

I think that is the biggest issue here. Everyone has prejudices, it is just a natural reaction to things we experience and learn. I hate clowns. Not really logical, but they just freak me out. The teabagggers don't see themselves as racists because they don't want to admit their prejudices to themselves. They want someone to blame for the instability we all feel. It is a true lack of self-awareness and insight that allows this to continue . . .

I agree...except the part about the clowns. ;>)

What's funny is that people sometimes simplify themselves to such a level lacking in complexity, maybe out of fear, insecurity and/or laziness, that they are as easy to read as a comic book. And that's how I see a great deal of these people...their racism is so very obvious and easy to see. But they choose to remain in denial because it's comforting...after all, most people don't want to be called racist.

On the other hand, there are those who although they might protest being labelled racist, you can talk to them for two minutes and already they start spouting openly racist sentiments. They don't even hide it. A close relative once told me that he'd never vote for a black person because they screw up every time you put them in office...but he would never admit to being a racist. Amazing...

Gingrich: Black unemployment is higher under Obama than any other administration.

First of all, no s**t Sherlock. We went through a recession. Unemployment in general is at its highest since the Great Depression. Second of all, Black unemployment trends higher on average when compared to the nation's overall employment average no matter the economic conditions. Third of all, Black unemployment is higher even if you examine specific economic classes and education levels.

In other words, this isn't specific to Obama. It's a problem that has existed in America for decades.

What evidence does anyone have that the Tea Party participants are racists? Liberals just want to demean and discredit anyone who tells it like it is and wants the out of control spending to cease. This is a topic which resonates with the majority of Americans who are waking up to the reality that our present President has no visable or discernible interest in keeping America the Land of the Free and a Beacon to the World.

Why do you think so many try to (and so many have) sneak into this country. I have lived in Latin America and have seen the conditions there. Let the liberals invest in programs to help the illegals to return home to be with their families and earn sufficient there to remain across the Borders.

Back to the Tea Party - The more that Liberals try to slime this movement, the more those in it and others waiting on the sidelines are going to be more determined to oust the incumbents in November.
