And yet he has higher ratings than Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow COMBINED.

Ratings makes lying okay? Seriously? Ratings don't equal quality or veracity of content.

And, you are incorrect. O'Reilly does not have higher ratings that those four programs combined. I might add that Fox and CNN/HLN are included in all basic cable/satellite packages . . . MSNBC is not. People have to pay extra to watch them. The fact that Olbermann's numbers put him in the Top Ten cable programs is significant and pretty amazing, if one loses his/her bizarre fixation on Fox propaganda and thinks about it.

            And?

That only shows just how many stupid, ignorant, lazy, misinformed people there are in this country, who rather swallow a confortable lie (knowingly or otherwise) than have the truth shake up their narrow little worlds.

Your point is no more than evidence of a very sad state of affairs.

And FACTS are not decided upon by popular vote.

SpongeBob SquarePants has higher ratings - does this mean you want the anchors (pardon the pun) for your news and political commentary to be SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward?

Gadzooks! It's positively exhausting watching Fox News with its constant stream of innuendos, misstatements, calculated omissions, misleading stats, editorial hyperbole, and other variants of lying and other unprofessional prostituions of journalism. Whew! I wish I wasn't such a media surf-hound. I get so dog-tired mentally and bodily. I may even be losing weight from too much exposure to Fox News. (Hmmm... The Fox News Diet. I like it! It has a certain ring to it.)

Hannity is the worst liar of the bunch when it comes to deficit numbers.

Even after being called out on the air numerous times, including once by Ed Rendell, for his lie about Obama "quadrupling" the deficit, Sean continued to run with it.

His numbers are demonstrably false and he can't be trusted to come anywhere near the truth.

According to the US treasury on January 20, 2009 the national debt was $10.6 trillion, today (July 20, 2010) the national debt is $13.3 trillion. We lose the argument that Obama isn't adding significantly to the deficit so we should stop making that case. The case we should be making is that this spending, while record breaking, is necessary.
