O'Reilly complains that the media ignored phony story about Sherrod

Both are good things.
You're right about one thing, though, and that's that journalism in America is in dire straits. But mostly for its unwillingness to call out the Fox network on the crap it peddles.
I'll give CNN credit on the Sherrod story for finally growing a pair and making sure the truth is actually reported.
I am glad that the whole story came out, that "The Media" didn't just swallow the whole fishing boat that had the fisher-person with the pole the line that had the sinker and hook attached to (I think I put that together right, kinda convoluted) like they did with the last "leaked" racist person of African descent video.
Who knows, perhaps they will put together a special on how certain parties are selectively editing or cropping for the express purpose, or apparent intent of, making the current President (or at the time, candidate) look bad.
