Good comments by Capehart. Robertson's I didn't need to hear.

It would seem that a lot of people owe this woman a big fat apology, including members of the Obama administration and the News Media.

While I'm not sure how involved the White House was in her firing, this would be a great opportunity for Obama to strike back at the Troglodytes. He should publicly denounce this shameful incident and demand that she get her job back.

From reports, Obama had no knowledge of this incident until after it was already a done deal. He did support Vilsack's decision, but I think, based on the circumstances, he kind of had to since Vilsack felt that he was bound by the zero tolerance policy to fire her.

Despite who did the firing and who knew, Obama should make this right. He always uses Truman's adage by saying the bucks stops with him - show it Mr. President and make this situation right.

I don't really think it is that easy because of the department's internal policies. I'll say again, though, blame the ones responsible for the whole thing: Breitbart and Fox. Don't do their work for them. They are achieving their goal every time someone blames the President. Doesn't matter how they got there, they'll take any criticism they can get.

You're exactly right. Let's lay the blame where it belongs. While the White House and MSM are sniping at each other, FOX and Britefart are sitting back, laughing their a$$es off. This played out exactly as they intended. It was a propaganda hit job from the beginning.

Maybe just a beer together in the rose garden. That seems to make everything better.

Ms Sherrod said she probably would not accept the job back.President Obama should make the offer anyway.I still say fox news has been whipped with their own marked cards. For Ms Sherrod to be offer her job back, and refuse will do considerable more damage to fox news, and Brietbart if she does not accept.I think Ms Sherrod clearly understands this.

Someone in the Obama administration listened and reacted As If Breitbart Has Credibility. He has none.

It sickens me to listen to Beck giggling on the radio that the White House is afraid of him.

From the top down, new policy: Don't dignify anything Fox and their mouthpieces say. Don't treat them as legitimate. Period.

The GOP and its mouth, Faux and Beck especially, have been planting the racist seeds for months. Why is everyone surprised that we are now seeing this stuff happen? This is Glenda's wet dream come true :/

The GOP and Faux need to be publicly exposed for the liars and race-baiters that they are and our government needs to stop being so reactionary to every lie they put out there. Give it a DAY for cryin out loud and do a little bit of research and stop with the kneejerk reactions.

Primaries are going on, this is all carefully planned by the GOP and its just disgusting. The last thing we need to be doing is buying into this stuff without doing our homework.

MMFA had the truth up on the site within hours yesterday.

I couldn't agree more. The question is, who has the stones to do it?

Even Rachel Maddow, whom I love, seems reluctant to venture very far down that road. Why are the other networks so afraid of FOX?

I think MMFA has the stones to do it. If they had a news show, we might be surprised how much support for truth is out there.

I guess I really am a bleeding heart liberal. I do have faith that we will get through this and light will overcome this current darkness. :)

Breitbart did not cause any of this! Before this story broke, every journalist in this country knew that he shouldn't be trusted. His ACORN story was shot down completely - he should have had absolutely no credibility after that. Anyone, accepting anything from Breitbart as fact deserves the blame. Breitbart is just an immature and snotty little bully, who will say whatever he thinks will get him some attention. He should be ignored and anything with his fingerprints on it should be thoroughly investigated. CNN did their job this time. MSNBC failed miserably. Fox News did what you would expect. I hope someone in the media learned a lesson here.
