What are the exact numbers on death threats? Percentages can be misleading

How many are acceptable, par for the course, just the price of speaking your mind in the USA, in your opinion?

Dawuss' long history on here shows he is no right winger.

And I think he asks a fair question. Statistics offered by percentages alone certainly can be misleading. We've seen the right play these creative accounting games too often to flatly suggest otherwise.

Unfortunately the Politico article did not offer the hard numbers and I've been unable to find those specifics elsewhere.

Sorry all, especially Dawuss. I guess I'm so used to the right throwing out "prove its" that I got sassy.

I humbly refudiate my statement <grin>

Yes, I'll concur that Dawuss is very fair in his critique here and has been in the past, as well.

He/she called out Rachel Maddow before when she took the interview/debate she had with Pat Buchanan and misrepresented his words (and did a little quote splicing) when she claimed he said that the U.S. track team is all "black folks", when, in fact, Buchanan was speaking hypothetically. If the video was shown in full, this would have been obvious. Anyway, I didn't mean to get off-topic from this video, but I just wanted to point that out.

Point being, as much as it hurts, we liberals/progressives have to call out our "own kind" (channeling Shirley Sherrod) so we can keep them in check and make sure they don't have clowns like Brent Bozell, Dan Gainor and the rest of the Media Research Center doing it instead.
