No problem- he'll have another lie tomorrow. Or he'll just say "hey, I gave my explanation, when are liberals going to stop living in the past?" Or he'll just keep repeating the lie. This won't even slow the sleazebag down.

What can we say Chuck. Breitbart is a liar and a very unreliable reporter. He also manipulates film and news to fit his ideology. Poor thing missed Journalism Ethics 101.

Hey, where are all the Breitbart apologists??

I've been entertained all day long with their explanations as to why he wasn't at fault/did't lie/it was an Obama conspiracy.

And what the motivation for MSNBC's "Morning Joe" to run with this lie for three days in a row (and counting)?

Easy. Joe is a total tool, and he surrounds himself with people who either nod and agree, or get laughed at.

Hey now, sometimes Mika manages a "oh come on!" or "I don't....think so.....ok...." before going back to doing what she does best- twisting her body and leaning toward Joe like a dog hoping for a pat on the head.

I was amazed that earlier this week Brian Williams (on Nightly News) reported Breitbart's applause falsehood and said nothing to call it into question.

Firstly, MSNBC is playing catch-up to CNN for having handled this story as the lie it is. MSNBC has some egg on their face for missing this. CNN beet them by an entire day. Joe S. was ranting about it in the morning and CNNs Sanchez was debunking it by the afternoon.

Another sad aspect of this is that the current media narrative effectively exonerates themselves for being duped by a Fox-endorsed Liar and the rightwing blogosphere. Additionally, The Obama administration has fully LOST the opportunity to to portray the media for the rubes they were because their own premature actions have allowed the media to focus on the administrations rush-to-judgment while exonerating (by ignoring) their own role as the amplifiers of unsubstantiated lies from a known lying liar!
