Walsh: Breitbart should've been discredited for pushing heavily edited ACORN videos, yet Fox ran with his Sherrod smear

When the media execs got hold of the edited Sherrod video they immediately began to salivate and say to themselves, "Ratings! Ratings! Ratings!"
But now the media as a whole, not just Fox News, has even less credibility than before, which was marginal to begin with. The only network that gained anything from this story was CNN because they engaged in a bare minimum of actual journalism, which in today's media is sadly more than what we're used to seeing.
Edited so that it appeared Acorn employees were committing crimes, when in fact the opposite was/is true.
I still don't know why Acorn hasn't sued him and the "actors".
BTW...CNN's very own "investigative" reporter Drew Griffin falsely accused Acorn of "voter fraud", then almost every program on CNN falsely smeared Acorn for DAYS:
The following 50 CNN segments did not include either of the above relevant facts (all program times ET):

Maybe you should read up a bit more before posting some of the stuff you did.
None of what you have posted changes the fact that Breitbart LIED and again posted an edited video which has ruined a person's career with the sole aim of destroying two organisations, the NAACP and USDA, both of whom Breitbart sees as the enemy of his racist agenda.
He got away with it with ACORN and he would have kept on trying if this hadn't blown up in his pudgy face so fast.
He's gone away on holiday hoping that the heat would have died down az bit by the time he gets back, but there are more and more questions he needs to answer.
Nothing in my post attempts to detract from what Breibart has done with the Sherood tape.
The point is that CNN is the playing the pot calling the kettle black with FOX.
CNN never apologized OR even RECOGNIZED that they or Breibart ever did anything wrong!
CNN had everything to do with Breibart having the credibility he did to pull off this latest stunt.
And by the way, CNN aired the doctored clip of Shirley Sharood more than all the other network news channels put together.
CNN needs to take their share of responsibility and culpability as well.
