I'll ask again, who else feels that their fans need to be reminded of this?

I'm thinking, based upon his line of BS today, that something has happened. Death threats which are directly linked to Beck's BS, maybe?

Yeah, he seems particularly paranoid today. Must have been a rough weekend.

Probably his lawyer pointed out what could happen when that guy who tried to shoot up the Tides Foundation gets to court...

I was just about to ask why is it that the right need to keep telling their listeners not to be violent and the left doesn't? Gee, I wonder if there could be any correlation for that.

I think he means: "If you do violence to free me from the men with white coats, be sure to remember i told you not to."

Yea, I guess when your talking about 'violent revolution,' being 'shot in the head,' and 'rioting in the streets" you need to throw in a statement every now and then saying you don't really want to see "rivers of blood,' as you've said before.

Why would anyone thing you're advocating violence, Glenn? Maybe you should stop using that one Jefferson quote, "the tree of liberty..." Your audience isn't sophisticated enough to make any meaningful distinctions between distant history and present reality.

Today it's "reject violence every step of the way," but tomorrow his special guest will be a member of the NRA.

He's totally believable here. Totally. (snark)

He meant "Reject violence against you every step of the way. When you commit violence yourself, that's A-Ok."

Maybe he'll bring on Ted Nugent to discuss economics, and Ted will tell Obama to suck on his machine gun.

Don't sell him short. Wasn't that ambush of police officers in Pittsburgh last year committed by a Beck fan? Or is that just one of those nasty internet rumours?

Make up your mind! Oh, sorry - I guess he'd have to be in possession of one first. So what's it gonna be Beckerhead - get all 2nd Amendment on our asses or "reject violence..."?

      NO!!!

Did Lincoln "reject violence every step of the way?"

      Hell no!!!

Maybe this whole cst is on to something. It could be that Beck has suddenly realized that one extremist rightwing loon with a gun or a bomb could result in a civil action that could destroy his personal wealth, and career?

Beck is the classic armchair patriot. He’ll sit on the porch waiving the flag and patting himself on the back for being such a good patriot until that fake patriotism starts to cost him something.

i dont want to put words into his mouth, but when one says its not the time to pick up guns etc. that implies that there may be a time when it is necessary to pick up the guns. given his other rhetoric this is frightening

It's hard to take Nostradumbass seriously in his plea for cooler heads to prevail. Here's a guy who is constantly whining that the Republic is doomed... that Liberals are shredding the Constitution...that people who support Liberal policies are "enemies of God"... WTF?

Are we expected to believe it never occurred to him that some people, upon hearing his hysterical rhetoric, might think violence is justified? Please... he knows damn well what he's doing.

Of course he does. Notice the three key words "for the record"! Desperate attempt to cover his big bubble butt. What record Glenn? The court record.

. . .if something violent happens on 8/28 he can refer back to all the times (within he last two weeks) he stated he was against violence and urged his followers to be peaceful. . .for the record
