Don't you just hate it since the Republican voted for this "huge tax increase" back in 2001 ???

I used to listen to his show, and he seems to think it's a simple matter to just go out and get three jobs to pay off your debts.

That may have been true thirty years ago, but it isn't now. My daughter has been pounding the pavement looking for a part time job for months. She can't even get an interview.

I hear you. I lost my job 16 months ago. I finally gave up when unemployment benefits ran out. I'm lucky though, I have a place to live, there are likely many who don't.

I'm sure those two retiring teachers in Texas must be looking at massive tax increases. Gosh, and the estate tax has to be worrisome for them.

How stupid can stupid get? How foolish does Fox think its viewers are? Apparently the answer in both cases is "very".

Hey Dave, the Private Sector (aka Big Business) has been operating unfettered for the last 10 years and WTF have they done for this economy?

You slimy piece of crap why don't you run for President so we can implement your brilliant ideas and then life will be perfect for all "real" Americans?

Why do these idiots still think we are in the '80's? Your pathetic ship has sailed and you're still trying to sell it to us. WE DONT WANT IT you F'ing smarmy loser!

Their message to us is that we all die without the Bush tax cuts. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH - these people make me feel violent.

Please forgive me Media Matters I really, really, really, really, dislike Dave Ramsey. I heard him talk about the Tennessee flood a while back and he used the opportunity to take a gratuitous swipe at the Katrina victims. As if the all floods are the same.

Did he say something to the effect that (White Republican) Tennesseans didn't ask the government for help, unlike those whiney (black Democratic) people in New Orleans? Something like that?

If he did, he's full of sh*t. Lot's of Tennessee flood victims asked for help. In fact, the (probably Republican) owners of the Opryland Hotel asked for government help.

He went on to say that Tennesseans are a "different kind of people." Ugh!

That's the rub, isn't it? What will they do with the money? So long as they are making life easier and more profitable for wealthy white Christian males, it's okay. As soon as they try to help poor people, or people of color, then all bets are off!

The Bush tax cuts were a horrible idea from the standpoint of both our economy and the federal deficit. Letting them expire on the wealthiest among us will lead to exactly one result: more whining on Fox Propaganda. It will have no effect on the economy, and it will increase federal revenue. Neither of these are bad things. Hey! Would y'all feel better if I told you your money was going to buy bombs to drop on brown people? I knew you would.

Exactly. Notice that all the overpaid pundits who are whining about this just happen to be in the tax bracket that would be affected. Coincidence? I don't think so.

By the way, how many jobs have the F&F Three Splooges created? Zero would be my guess.

"We don't know what these idiots are going to do with this stuff" personally I think he was referring to the 3 on the couch.

Actually after hearing the first part all I could think of is Texas must have some fantastic teacher pension program.

One of their favorite talking points is that returning the tax rate to what it was in the 90s will unfairly "punish" the productive members of society, and stifle job creation.

      Bullsh*t.

First of all, Obama is proposing tax credits for those who actually do create jobs.

Secondly, these guys are really just trying to protect rich a$$holes like themselves and Blimpy Limbaugh who create few if any jobs, and contribute nothing useful to society. They're just big fat leeches on the system.

That's true Nerzog. What do the following people create?
        Limbaugh
        Hannity
        Ramsey
        Beck

Answer: They create nothing. They take information and twist it to fit their warped world. They contribute nothing to society, create no jobs and look for tax loopholes. They hord money and never reinvest said money. That is the very definition of leaching off the system.

Collecting additional tax monies to help keep the national debt lower than it would be without those additional tax revenues is "doing nothing"?

The rightwing media has fearmongered this issue so much that the viewer is totally snowed to believe that under Obama, she'll pay more in federal income taxes next year. She almost certainly won't if she and her husband are teachers!

But this guy says that "regular people" are going to be affected!

Liar. And uncontradicted by that crack staff on Fox & Friends.

Down here in Tennessee, we're living in an alternate universe.

Like a lot of states, we're in a budget crisis. The Democratic candidate for Governor is proposing tax cuts, but the Republican candidates say we can't afford it. WTF?

Of course, one of the reasons Tennessee is so strapped is that, every time a State Income Tax is proposed, the local Hate Radio Jocks organize protests to stop it.
