Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes, not divine, but demonic."
- Truth and Tolerance; p. 116
A) Obama never made any reference to religious salvation through politics
b) Neither you nor Beck had any issue with George Bush using his office to promote his own right-wing Christian agenda
and
C) Benedict XVI hearts pedophiles.
1) it uses the word 'politics'
2) it uses the word 'demonic'
I thought she was in that upcoming biopic of him, "Avatard".

Run on sentence, yes, but suffice it to say that God doesn't like businessmen taking advantage of buyers.
Criminy, you're a uneducated, dishonest, racist, anti-Semitic sociopath. The folks who believe a single thing that comes out of your lying mouth should have their "collective" head examined. They are as warped as you are.
During the show he reiterates the claim that Israel was given to the Jews 3500 years ago, and that God will curse anyone who opposes them.
The scary part is that the "Biblical boundaries" of Israel also include parts of other modern countries. According to Hagee, these must be returned to Israel so that Jesus can come back.
So, imagine the Middle Eastern policies of a Troglodyte President like Sarah Palin...
"All of 'em!"
The bright side is, if the generals decide her policies are too dangerous, they could have a bloodless military coup simply by bringing something shiny.
FYI, Cardinal Henri de Lubac, the author of the link I posted above is the person who originated the term "collective salvation." So, I guess Beck is calling the Cardinal a demon, right?
Hannity's waterboarding
M. SavageWeiner's 'expose' of MMFA
Of course, to the Evangelical Troglodyte, there is no other kind, so I guess it's a natural mistake.
Another possible explanation is that Glenn Beck is psychotic.
The then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger wrote a book (and that is to say, he actually wrote it unlike you) called Truth and Tolerance. And the actual quote was and is . . .
"Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes not divine, but demonic."
I'll confess I haven't read this book--and since you can't offer an accurate quote I'm betting you haven't either--but I see this more of a warning against a political states who try to put their role on an equal level with the work of God--much like Germany did when Ratzinger was a boy.
This was published in 2004, by the way, when there was some other guy holding the office of President of the United States. I seem to recall he was rather outspoken about matters of faith and the role of the government.
In the temple courts [Jesus] found men selling cattle, sheep and doves and other sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;
he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. [John 2:14 & 15.] Watch out! Be on your guard against
all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. [Luke 12.15.] Truly, I say unto you, it will
be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. [Matthew 19:23] You cannot serve both God and Money. [Matthew 6:24.] But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed,
because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just. [Luke 14:13 &14.]
