        Beck is basically saying here that Obama should burn in hell. Well, since Obama can't do that until hes dead...

        then Beck is advocating the killing of the President.

        Now, I'm thinking that part of the reason why it's so un-funny is because MMfA spoils the joke by giving us the punchline. But, even if I didn't know the punchline beforehand, Beck gives it away with "I know a place where he can go." So it's a long, drawn-out, flopping fish of a joke.

        I sincerely hope that they are paying attention. For someone who claims that they are patriotic, he shows his rear end at our government at every opportunity. He is 100% un-American with his hate filled rants about the government and it goes way beyond first amendment rights.

        It's not funny when your words cause your listeners to kill people Glenda. You have blood on your hands too and you are happily creating the scenerio for someone to kill someone - again. How can you call yourself a Christian? How can you call yourself patriotic?

              I love him making fun of Olbermann going to an "ag school" (at Cornell). Olbermann graduated from high school at 16 and from that "ag school" at 20. Beck was skipping school and doing drugs when he was that age.

              Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University aka Texas A&M University [Gig 'em, Aggies!] is an "ag school," too. It's also one of the top ranked universities in the country. Beck wouldn't qualify to walk on campus, let alone go to school there.

            They kind of remind me of two guys so full of themselves that they have no clue just how stupid they sound.

              Thank you, it wasn't funny, but it was informative. Imagine being mad at someone for thinking the general populations actually knows and understands an important point in history. They didn't make any references to Zola and J'accuse, so maybe he only knows that Dreyfuss was French and therefore, completely irrelevant to 'Rill Ahmerukins".

              This reminds me of the one award won by the radio station I worked at. When they announced the category, there was no "Gold" awarded.. the 'Silver' went to a station that had about 12 people producing/writing.. our "Bronze" led to a nervous laughter (one of the few 'independent' stations, never known for having the facilities of the 'group' stations) when the station was announced. The spot was written by me, with ideas from others, and involved three people total in production.

          Oh, I think you could. This is a man who has been making dishonest and hate-filled comments about the President on the public airwaves for almost 2 years. He has repeatedly spoken of revolution. There have been at least 3 or more acts of violence on government representatives which have been tied to statements made by Beck on his program . . . now, he has stated he wants the president to go to hell.

          Yeah, I think that a stong enough link could be made to make Beck get a bit uncomfortable. I say "do it."

      Since when did thinking someone, anyone (much less the sitting president of the U.S.) should go to hell and burn in a lake of fire (Glenn's words) become acceptable discourse?

      Anybody in the media want to focus on this for a week and a half?

      Or is there another little old lady at the USDA or some new Black Panther caricature shouting on the sidewalk that we need to cower in fear of?
