What Rahm Emmanuel did in the 2006 cycle...

That's cr@p. Howard Dean was The Man in 2006. Rahm was busy recruiting DINOs. How's that working for us?

But FAUX is just repeating DLC propaganda here.

It's a shame that the corporatist Democrats would rather lose to the GOBPers than return party control to its base, the people who show up at election time and vote for Democrats.

Thank you for bringing that up. Howard Dean had the right prescription for the Democratic Party. Challenge in almost every district in all 50 states. Don't play defense, withholding your resources for a handful of cases that your analysts determine to be competitive. Make them competitive. Be ready to pounce when a supposedly safe opponent says something stupid and makes him/herself vulnerable. Make the other guys invest resources where they didn't want to. Make them play defense.

Man, I wish Dean was back in charge of party strategy.

According to something I read on Think Progress a while back, these "Young Guns" are anything but young.

If Rubio is any example, they're lost. Rubio released his "plan," and it is the same old tired republican talking points--don't let the tax cuts on the rich expire, cut the budget without saying where/what, increase taxes on the middle and lower classes, deregulate everything, repeal Social Security, do away with Medicare and Medicaid etc.

No solution is given for solving any problem he identifies.

My kitty could have come up with the same plan.

He*l, Rubio didn't put any thought into his "plan for America."

It's the same old BS I've been hearing for @ 30 years. Every time it is tried, it ends in disaster.
