The ruling DOES protect American citizens. It protects American citizens of Hispanic heritage from harassment by law enforcement officials looking for undocumented Hispanic immigrants. Apparently people on the right do not regard Hispanics as true American citizens. Sad...

All Hispanic citizens keep their documents handy at all times. They know about the old Cheech and Chong song "I was born in east L.A.".

What sepecific evil is going to be released on citizens? I believe your stand on this topic falls into the hands of the people that exploit the illegals. Apparently people on the left do not regard illegal Hispanics as an exploited underclass. Sad..

Undocumented = illegal, lets try to keep it honest and not change the terms we have used for most of our lives.

here is a pragmatic way of looking at it.

illegal aliens. there they are. a butt load of them by god.

let's not go into the 'exploited' thing shall we?

          i'll pretend i'm a 'real' conservative.

there are a ton of them and we don't have the facilities to ferret them out now do we? well- since they are here...we may as well make it as 'safe' for 'real americans' as we can shall we?

they pick our lettuce right? nice. not making $25 bux an hour. our greatest fear should be? illegal alien in a car with no drivers permit...gets into a crash. no permit equals no insurance.

you can drag diego off to jail but that does not fix my leg now does it. it makes YOU feel better- but my leg is not fixed.

these people are a fact of life. and are going to be for as far as we can see.

so? what to do? don't be a moron and think we can 'control' this. it's a bit like afganistan. those people will fade in and out as they need to. what are you thinking? they won't?

dude- get 5000 tanks on the border. they are still going to beat you. one person at a time.

so? we need a workable solution. this? this is stupid and it's a money waster.

see how that works mr./miss/mrs. 'conservative'?

It was Cheech alone that made that song and was suppose to be humor, little did we know he was looking into the future. Tell me moran, why should a citizen of this country have to carry proof of said citizenship?

The point of the challenge went right over your head to, huh?

I'm not sure where you got that "all Hispanic citizens keep their documents handing at all times," but it's complete bull hockey.

The law doesn't protect Americans from lawlessness. Once again this administration has failed to do its part to keep the citizenry secure.

Whether in protecting our future economically or free from the consequences of porous borders, this was done clearly in defiance of the will of Americans.

Speaking truth to/about progressives with a shout out to Sheriff Joe Arpaio who as we speak is erecting several more tents to keep citizens safe from criminals roaming Arizona.

you are almost not worth responding to but look-

The law doesn't protect Americans from lawlessness.

just what lawlessness are you speaking of? picking lettuce without a state permit? hmmm

or are you talking about dope running? that? that's got nothing to do with being illegal or not. it has to do with dope. the end.

          ups,

No need to look to secure the border or make untenable for illegals of any sort to enter and stay in our country!

It is in part about the dope, dope. the beginning.

Building more prisons to deal with crime is the very definition of treating a symptom, but neglecting the disease.

          darkink,

Gee, then maybe we could treat the disease by............ securing the freaking border!

This ruling makes 'treating the symptoms' true American's only option.

Once again this administration has failed to do its part to keep the citizenry secure.

Except for how they've drastically amped up border security, which you are either ignorant of or just ignoring.
this was done clearly in defiance of the will of Americans.

        So was desegregation.
Blargle rargle fart fart progressives with a shout out to Sheriff Joe Arpaio

The same Joe Arpaio who's a folk hero among neo-Nazis? That Joe Arpaio?

This ruling upheld the Constitution, phony boy. If you were a conservative, you would be celebrating the ruling because it maintains the authority given to the federal government BY THE CONSTITUTION. But, then, we know you're not a conservative, just a groupie.

BTW, are you aware that while violent crime is DOWN in most of Arizona, it was UP in Arpaio's jurisdiction?

"Whether in protecting our future economically..."
If you want to see economic chaos, just suddenly get rid of all those undocumented workers who illegally provide your family fresh produce at an artificially (illegal?) low price.
Apparently people on the left do not regard illegal Hispanics as an exploited underclass. Sad..

I believe it was folks on the left who passed overtime protection to farm workers in California, and a governor from the right who vetoed it. Sad.
I think most of us on the left would like to see a path to citizenship for most of the productive illegals here: those folks who groom our yards, care for our children and elders, and pick our food. Then they would be much less likely prey for unscrupulous employers to exploit. There is a difference, you know, between illegal and criminal.
