      Yeah, Dr Wiener. All that produce picked for pennies an hour have sucked this country dry.

      Why don't you get out in those fields and work for a while? It would be the only work you would have ever done in your life, and you wouldn't last five minutes.

      Wouldn't one think that a DOCTOR with a masters in medical botany would be familiar enough with insects to come up with an appropriate entemologic metaphor for "sucking dry" than "locust"? I mean, "spider", "wasp", "leech"... But "locust"?

        Good point. The Corporations are the ones who are sucking us dry. They sell us their products, get fat on our economy, then move their factories to other countries in pursuit of higher profits.

        GM is doing it now, even after we bailed them out.

      How many field workers does it take to create as much tax revenue as the tax breaks the Bush administration gave to Big Oil? How many day laborers does it take to create as much tax revenue as the billions that was wasted in Iraq?

      I know the Reicht hates it when we quote the Bible to them but this quote from Luke seemed appropriate:

      Methinks Mike has confused locusts, which are grasshoppers and eat, with cicadas that are sap-suckers.
      Here's a tip Mike; don't cook cicadas and eat them with honey - the taste is not the same.

          Interestingly enough, a regional colloquialism is locust, so I know how Mike could be confused - still doesn't explain his hateful behavior.
