This is the way totalitarian regimes have often used the media to their advantage. Who are we to argue with the talking heads and their reporters, you can sit back and accept that things aren't as bad as they appear because "official sources" of news with high ratings are telling you the story.

We've undergone a major media paradigm shift here in America within the last two decades. The old guard of real journalists are retiring or passing on from the mortal coil. Still others are being let go for more cost effective celebrity entertainment and simple cherry picked reads off the major wires. And then there is Fox, a network that unashamedly reports all news through a thick partisan filter, supporting smears and non-credentialed partisan hacks as legitimate news so long as it supports their own partisan leanings. It becomes an echo chamber where people like Brietbart create smears that then become drawn into the mainstream news, that then goes back to legitimize people like Brietbart, who then become accepted as news sources.

Get a grip on reality. We "NeanderCon nutjobs"know that MMFA is a left wing site and come here to read the mindless drivel you call intelligent dialogue. You find the most inane subjects to whine about. How about something important, like Pelosi's LIE about cleaning up Congressional ethics, and then not prosecuting Rangel? He should go to jail just like any other tax evader. Al Capone comes to mind.
We have no need for legitimization because the "talking points" are not the issues. The real issues are the destruction of the country by this regime funded by your boy, Soros, the radicals surrounding the Appeaser-in-Chief, the bankrupting of the country,and the overall corruption of the government.
