Seriously?? I can't believe Fox would be able to keep this guy on the air. They have absolutely no credibility. I hate to say this, but I think the government needs to shut this guy down. These are the public's airwaves. He's already caused death through his insane rhetoric.

The solution to stupid, idiotic speech is more speech, and truth, not censorship.

This is supposed to be a government of the people. The airwaves are considered public property. When multi-national corporations allow this sort of hate speech, even champion it as their own, IT IS THE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE PUBLIC SAFETY. THIS GUY IS CLEARLY CREATING A CLIMATE OF VIOLENCE, AND BORDER'S SEDITION EACH AND EVERY DAY. I agree 100%, and where to you draw the line is the question.....I think we can all agree this has crossed that line. Censorship was a real threat 50 years ago, but in this day and age the same rules don't apply.

Fox [as they would blame the government] taking Beck off the air is that Beck wants to be a martyr. He has already warned his minions that he is on a government assassination hit list, and that the Obama administration [which he claims is really the Weather Underground] wants him off the air [because he is telling the truth about them]. He blaims Obama for the advertizer boycotts of his show. He has promised his followers a 'amoment which will change the course of our nation' on 8/28 [Beck's big star turn at the Lincoln Monument on the anniversay of MLK's 'I Have Dream Speech.' He has instructed his followers to do religious preperation for this 'history changing moment'. Those who can't attend are to fast and pray on that day. He has likened today's America to Stephen King's 'The Stand'. [Never mind that King once described Beck as "Satan's special needs brother]. So...Beck has brilliantly rigged his path with landmines for anyone who attempts to disrupt it. It is the reality show from Hell. I myself am mesmermized. Beck sells a toxic mix of theocracy, nationalism, xenophobia and a perverse patriotic-nostalgia that makes the John Birch Society seem like weak tea. His minions are armed and dangrous. Beck is a real seditionist.

That would explain why they've announced their intentions to include a 9/11 memorial in the community center (NOT mosque).

I'm glad Glenn Beck has declared that he isn't responsible for inciting people to violence. Certainly statements like this one are meant to incite reasonable discourse and don't use alarmist, fear-ridden imagery that draws unfair parallels to the horrible events of nearly a decade ago.

I live near a Muslim day school. I had lived there for seveal years before I even knew it was a school. It looks like a school from the outside (it used to be the local high school) but the sign out front only has initials on it. The name of the school is not there for fear of student safety. It is a sad world we live in. I found out this was a school when the students competed in the local Model United Nations and kicked everyone's collective bums! Whipped by a bunch of girls in headscarves and veils!

Beck has no credibility when he speaks. .. _Other than_ proving his agenda: to inflame and to incite violence... to sit back and see what havoc his words might inspire.

Oh so Glenn has a problem with them building this mosque in his area? Well good thing it's not in his ----ing area. The community board voted in favor of it. Get out of their business - you have absolutely no say if it should or shouldn't be built. Just like who I live in Queens and not CB-1, so I have no say in what they do.

And this is the guy who complains about the fed grabbing land away from the states. That's exactly what he's preaching should happen.

What was it Coulter said? You shouldn't use the victims of 9/11 to make political points? Why do you hate Anne Coulter, Beck?

      The Weather Underground again????

That fringe, splinter, ragtag group of a few dozen individuals has not existed for more than 30 years, Glenn?

Why do you keep bring them up?

How about a radio talker who says "why aren't you in the streets, America? Your Republic being taken away", and says "Shoot to kill" in a graduation speech? Do you have a problem with that, Glenn?
