        My ex-girlfriend once worked for a non-profit specializing in AIDS prevention (charity fundraising, education) in South Bend, Indiana.

        I guess I should call her up today, and call her a "rapist."

        Gee, Rush, I worked for the Salvation Army for years. Made $26.00 a week. Now that is getting really rich, eh. But actually Rush, I was happy as a lark. YOu are a hateful slob, Rush. As a Republican I am always ashamed of you.

      Most churches are non-profit organizations with employees. Some of them even speak to God. So why is Rush attacking people who work for churches?

      How does this even follow?

      Thomas Sowell tried selling this BS years ago. When I was in B-School, we were assigned an article by him about how non-profit organizations were inherently more greedy that for-profit corporations.

      It was every bit as absurd then as it is now. Needless to say, they misrepresent the purpose and motivation of the NP's, while glossing over all the faults of the 4P's.

      It like a religion with these people. And every bit as fallible as one, in the eye of the non-believer / free-thinker.

      Either that or it's just b*llsh!t meant to try to justify GREED on a level that 98% of American cannot even conceive of to the common man.

          I somewhat agreed with that at the time but saw that there was too much room for abuse - I thought the right-wingers would try to hijack the distribution of funds and only support Christian programs, etc...

          Is the Faith Based Initiative still on the books?
