Short version: Obama's not a Muslim, but he attended that n!gger church, which is just as bad.

I clicked the play button, but could only listen for 1 minute and 14 seconds...so I'm with you, usp. The part I did hear before the nausea set in was typical Beck insanity, so you didn't really miss anything.

You should listen. I know it is difficult, and scary. Beck says that Obama was raised Muslim for a while. And surrounded by an influence of Athism, and he only got Jesus through his connection with Rev. Wright. And then Beck goes on to spout his view of Jesus the Conqueror.

But, the best is when he says, "that no one is explaining why Barack Obama doesn't feel right." He then goes on about social justice instead of actually explaining:

why Barack Obama doesn't feel right????? Because he is half-black.

Yeah, if you're talking about how someone "doesn't feel right" you're pretty much admitting that your problems with them have no quantifiable basis.

Jesus wouldn't recognize most people who call themselves Christians.

Goverment as the oppressor? I thought that was the gospel according to Beck.

Government oppression of white "Christian" billionaires is a real, genuine threat.

Government oppression of Black people, poor people, etc is a fantasy of revisionist history, or at least some minor glitch that has all been taken care of since The Cosby Show first aired.

What difference does it make what religion the President is.

Ah yes, you of the "no religious test" camp. Clearly you are a member of the Constitutionalist cult. Scary, very scary. /snark

Can we cue that clip of Beck arguing that it wasn't fair to scrutinize Mittens for being a Mormon?

To those of us who are not religious, it doesn't make any difference at all. I accepted long ago that most people running for public office have to be, or pretend to be, aligned with some religion.

To cultists like Beck, it's much more important.

Oh, I think that most true Christians see Obama as a brother in Christ . . . you, not so much.

I can't believe Beck brings up Episcopalians. We are firm believers in the social gospel and are about as far from what Beck spews as anyone can be. If Obama was an Episcopalian, Beck would be having a field day.

So are Southern Baptists. I spent a week recently helping out at an inner city church which was ALL about social justice.

Sounds like he's paraphrasing Mike Huckabee's comments about Mormons.

Mormons are a cult, simply a more successful one than Jones or Manson had. The Mountain Meadows Massacre was the largest religious slaughter in US history, prior to 911. The LDS church continues to deny responsibility; must have been progressive policies that infected Joseph Smith's killers. Will Beck discuss "blood atonement" or his magic underwear?
