You've offered a link to a Heritage Foundation hack and suggest it offers proof of something? A top ten list of "insults" which includes Hillary Clinton visiting Israel (how dare she!), Robert Gibbs saying that peace in the Middle East needs constructive and trustful dialog (how rude!), and, my favorite, Obama meeting with Netanyahu, and then having dinner with his family when the meeting was finished (why, that's no way to treat an ally!)

Keep these idiotic attempts at scoring some kind of strange point a' coming, birdbrain. I can't get enough of laughably weak things like this!

Just look at the way he treats Isreal(sp) ---Seahawks the fake "Bone Doctor"

President Obama's Fiscal Year 2010 budget proposes $53.8 billion for appropriated international affairs' programs. From that budget, $5.7 billion is appopriated for foreign military financing, military education, and peacekeeping operations. From that $5.7 billion, $2.8 billion, almost 50% is appropriated for Israel.
I'd hate to be treated that way.

What makes a Muslim, seahawks123? It's a set of beliefs, including the oneness of God, and the primacy of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It's also a pattern of practices, including daily prayers, obligatory charity, and at least one pilgrimage to Mecca.

You can get that from a father if your father teaches these things to you; as you know, President Obama did not have a relationship with his father.

In many religions a child is considered to be of that religion if the child's mother is part of that religion. In others it is if the father is part of the religion yet others either or both parents. Meanwhile some religions do not consider you part of the religion until you make the choice. Using this logic Hitler was Jewish because of his mother.

How many people miss church because they're traveling? Sleeping? Playing Madden 2010?

Seriously-let's not pretend like "going to church every Sunday" is the primary characteristic of a Christian.

All this hate against Muslims proves one thing, and that is Thomas Jefferson was right in this.

"Those who live by mystery & charlatanerie, fearing you would render them useless by simplifying the Christian philosophy, the most sublime & benevolent, but most perverted system that ever shone on man, endeavored to crush your well earnt, & well deserved fame."

          I like these better!

The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious

I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Most bad government has grown out of too much government.

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

            "Ketchup is a vegetable."
"Brownie, you're doin' a heckuva job."
"The American people have a right to know whether or not their president's a crook. Well, I'm not a crook."

About as much as what you posted has to do with Thomas Jefferson Quotes for American Teenager Funtime, considering Jefferson never said the vast majority of them. But for the record, the point I was making was that it's the above quotes that define modern-day movement conservatism, not the (fake) quotes you're so pleased with yourself for copying and pasting from whatever militia website you hang out on.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

This is a misquote. The actual quote was:

If we can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy.

Those fake quotes were from Thomas Jefferson, who kept a copy of the Koran in house, and like Ben Franklin and George Washington, respected Islam. And now for some real quotes from another founding father, Thomas Paine.

"Personal property is the effect of society . . . All
accumulation, therefore, of personal property, beyond what a man’s own hands produce, is derived to him by living in society; and he owes . . . a part of that accumulation back again to society from whence the whole came."-Thomas Paine, from his largely forgotten work, Agrarian Justice, which would make any dittobot recoil in horror.

"Of all the systems of religion that ever were invented, there is none more derogatory to the Almighty, more unedifying to man, more repugnant to reason, and more contradictory in itself, than this thing called Christianity."

THOMAS PAINE, The Age of Reason

Wow, you're a worse theologian than you are an economist.
Choose carefully, squawks; if you're gonna run with the "SEEKRIT MUSLIN" thing, you can't mention Rev. Wright ever again. I know it's the hardest choice you'll ever have to make, but it has to be made all the same.

President Obama's father didn't raise him. He wasn't raised in the Muslim faith and denouncing Islam is NOT a crime in any context except with the extremists, who don't follow true Islam. BTW, his grandmother raised him. She (God rest her soul) was not Muslim.

And the crime in playing golf is.....what? Why is it important to you that Obama goes to church on Sunday? That's a serious question; I'm not being snarky here. I don't go to church on Sunday because I work two jobs and am continuing my education. But I am a Christian, I do work for my church, I do hold the faith dear, and I do follow the tenets of my faith. If the pew isn't warmed by my ass, does that negate all the other things, in your eyes?

As I said on another thread, if playing golf on Sunday makes folks Muslims, we've got a lot of Muslim deacons at my Southern Baptist Church.

It doesn't matter what faith Obama's father was . . . he was not part of Obama's life, Obama didn't know him.

Keep up, squawks, you're looking more and more stupid every day.

Oh, and I guess you believe that Bush and Reagan are Muslim, too, right? Both of them RARELY went to church when they were in office and neither of them were members of local churches.

It's called Shahada. "I profess/witness (affirm/declare) that there is no God but God (or Allah in Arabic) and I profess that Mohamed is his prophet."

That's how you become a Muslim.

Just like in Christianity we declare our faith at baptism or confirmation. It isn't conferred upon you through birth. You have to want it to get it.

So -- we believe polls now, eh, Limpy?

And not just as a gauge of opinions, but to establish facts.

A few months back. I was having a little back and forth with some friends on facebook, basically about the threat of an Idiocracy, and having some laughs about widespread ignorance.

I linked to a poll similar to this one, showing that a substantial number of Americans believed Obama was a Muslim. It was for laughs.

A wingnut friend-of-a-friend chimed in, and started discussing this "new evidence that Obama was a Muslim".

That night, I linked to several other polls on her page- the percentage of Americans who believed the Sun revolved around the Earth, or believed in angels, or didn't think that Hawai'i was part of the U.S. The results were all pretty close, showing what I thought was evidence that a predictable percentage of Americans are boneheads.

The person for whose benefit I linked to these had to ask me what my point was, but she soon got distracted by focusing on the "believing in angels" survey, explaining to me that she oculd confirm the believers responses, as there were many near car accidents and other things that were "hard to explain" which pointed clearly to the existence of angels.

        These people, like seahawks, vote.

What kind of idiot would cheer when a large number of people in a poll claim to believe something that is demonstrably untrue?

This only proves that these people have no interest in disseminating facts when falsehoods will more easily help them achieve their goal.

During the first hour of his show today, Michael Medved said:

"[Obama's] poll numbers are low in Israel because he's been very much a critic of the Israeli government, and very much a critic of Israel. He does not seem to have the visceral connection with the state of Israel that, say, President Bush -- and yes, even in his own way, President Clinton did."
