        Well, yeah, because Jesus believed every single thing they believe. Also, he somehow hated communism two thousand years before its existence.

            Your pic reminds me of an article I saw on the ajc.com site this AM. A minister here in GA has filed a lawsuit to challenge a new gun law that prohibits having guns in churches. He says that he needs a gun when he's in the church by himself working on different things.

      Exactly, Beck . . . . you're EVIL. Jesus Christ preached social justice throughout the New Testament. You are the one who is perverting his teachings.

      You gotta give the dude some credit. A three minute rant without a mention of Saul Alinsky or Coward and Pliven. That has to be a first.

      "When you pervert the founding documents, I think you're a pretty bad dude....When you pervert the Gospel of Jesus Christ, you are evil"

      At last, we agree about something! You're evil! I've been saying that for the last two years, since I heard of you. I get no money from George Soros, I'd never heard of him until you and the Foxbots kept complaining about him. Some us just have a very good sense of smell, and we nosed you out on our own....free of charge (a phrase that never passes your lips, unless you are accepting.)

      I'd like him to explain how it is that the first communes were RELIGIOUS, hundreds of years ago.

        Actually, the idea of communes goes back to the time of Paul the Apostle:

        Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

        Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

        Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

        Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

        Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

        Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (emphasis added)

      Wow, I thought Glennie was talking about himself there for a minute. You know, the perverting the Gospel for political ends part. That's fits you to a T Glennie boy. In your world Jesus is a self-righteous capitalist who hated minorities and loved war-mongering elites. But the Jesus of the Bible is nothing like that. So that makes YOU evil.
      Oh and by the way most evangelicals think that Joseph Smith's Book of Mormon is a corruption of Christianity. Just thought you'd like to know.

      Beck is clearly ignorant about the differences even among Christians and various Christian groups. If he did, he would not link Rev. Wright with Jim Wallis. If poor Beck can't understand the difference among Christians he certainly can't judge Islam.

      He also misses the hidden point in what he says. If there are dangerous Christian ideas and groups within Christianity that are not truly Christian, why can't the same be said of Islam?

        Excellent point. If all Muslims are somehow responsible for the 9/11 attacks, aren't all Christians responsible for these guys?

          Incredible pic, nerzog.

          And here's a dandy little quote that today's pseudo-Christian with race problems (I allude to Beck, the people in your photo, and others) might want to try to identify:

          Looking into the portals of eternity teaches that
          the brotherhood of man is inspired by God's Word;
          then all prejudice of race vanishes away.

          Since Beck is very fond of identifying with the founding fathers, he might like to know that this quote, which stands so opposed to his own views, is George Washington's epitaph.

          Now, since Washington was a slave owner (albeit a fairly benevolent one, according to historians), he had his own issues with race to overcome. But if this epitaph is of his own choosing (extremely likely), then he seems to have succeeded.

          I fear I see no such success in Beck's future.

      Wow... you just couldn't make this stuff up.

      As always, my question is this: Is Beck so delusional and self-centered that he really believes this nonsense, or is he just cynically taking advantage of the morons who trust him to rake in as much money as he possibly can?

      I'm inclined toward the latter, but you never know.

      How can one be a Muslim and "pervert the Gospel of Jesus?

      So, is the president a Christian or a Muslim, Glenda?

      No wonder your listeners are SO confused.

      You cannot teach them what you don't know!

      Who are "these" people? Who perverted the founding documents? What hidden agenda?
      Jeremiah Wright has put more kids through college, helped more AIDA victims, given more money and clothes to help the poor than you ever will and he had maybe 1/10th the money you do. He actually helps the community while you just sit and spout conspiracy theories. I'd walk with Jim Wallace and Rev. Wright before I'd give you the time of day. Sad.

        Since when is an invitation for a face-to-face discussion considered an attack? I've never heard Jim Wallis say anything remotely unkind (and he's got every right to do so) about Beck.
