Beckstradamus doesn't care. Noone but FOX is interviewing him and i am guessing Beck will employ the " Sharron Angle method " of insisting only questions she wants to answer will be asked, or you don't " get me ".

Actually all that is a sham. Beck would not recognize "Christianity" if it got so close to him it could slap him in the face. This guy covers his racism very well in all these silly statements but it drives Beck nuts to see this Black man think circles around him. The whole approach to President Obama by this goof is based on his own insecurities and his innate racism. And as far as President Obama's religious teachings go, they surely beat your judgmental garbage, Glenn!

I have no problem whatsoever with any of Obama's remarks about his faith.

I have great problems with Glenn Beck's remarks about his faith.

Actually I have trouble recognising pretty much anything that Mr Beck says as having anything to do with reality.

Well, DellDolly gave us a pious pile of bs on another thread earlier today, admonishing us to be "bridge builders" instead of dividers. I want to see her response to this latest comment of Beck's.

Nostradumbass did a fairly good job of projecting nothing but cornball sweetness and light yesterday. He was even able to keep Simple Sarah on a fairly short leash. He must have paid her very well.

I'm surprised DellDolly would fall for it, since she's well aware of the real Nostradumbass.

If cornball Glenn Beck replaces partisan hack Glenn Beck on his shows in the coming weeks, then I'll revisit my position.

I really don't see it happening. Rupert isn't paying him millions of dollars to "build bridges".

This thing yesterday was a big dog and pony show... expect to see DVDs of the event for sale at the Beck U. gift shop.

Don't. The softly sincere Beck is far smarmier (to me, anyway) than the shouting partisan. He's the living embodiment of the old actor's joke: "Great acting is about honesty and sincerity; and once you learn to fake that..."
Beck is so transparently manipulative that I can't watch, for fear of finding myself actively despising the poor souls who are taken in by him (and all the talibangelists).

The problem here is that Beck doesn't seem to realize that the President is not a religious leader. It is not his role by tradition or constitutionally. I don't care what Obama's religious beliefs are regarding his faith. We don't pay him for that. We pay him to lead a secular government.

i hate it when you have to the freakin' patron st. of the obvious to point out stuff like that.

it's like the local president of the elks lodge...he's a really bad flyfisherman...and this should concern us- members of the elks lodge...

Exactly. It is none of anyone's business what another person's religion is, least of all Glenda, who by his actions is about as un-Christian as I have ever seen.

What a vile creature he is. He keeps throwing out the Catholic Church, like they are in alignment with his judgment. I wonder what the Catholic Church thinks about that?

It just drives the right crazy that the President will not lower himself to address this nonsense. It wouldn't matter anyway - no matter what he would say they would crucify him, because that his what they do best.

What next? They have attacked him personally, professionally, politically, have attacked his wife, daughters, mother, father, grandparents, religion/faith, birth certificate, educational credentials, and skin color.

Did I miss anything? Is there anything left for them to attack?

          Well, they've also attacked his culinary choices {putting grey poupon mustard on a hamburger, consuming arugula} -- and even commented that he was too "fit" to be president {as though having someone ill and out of shape in office would be so much better.}

Other than that, you've pretty much covered it -- so far . . .

Glenn Beck-the allegedly devout Mormon and Christian, who spent Saturday morning preaching to us all about God and religion-spent this morning (Sunday morning) talking to Chris Wallace on FoxNews criticizing Obama's Christianity rather than worshipping God in church. This is another shining example of Glenn "Do as I say, not as I do" Beck's devout faith.

Oh, must you ask Beck to support the claim he's made with one, or more, actual in context quote(s) from the thousands, and thousands, and thousands of samples from his speeches and writings that are readily available to all? Would you actually dare to suggest that he should offer even the slightest effort to back up the drivel that comes spewing from his mouth?

Well, see, now the first thing you're going to have to do, Beck, is provide some of those comments so we can judge for ourselves. There is still a large contingent of Americans capable of independent thought, much to your chagrin, so if you're going to level charges like this, you're going to be asked for proof. Which, as it happens, you do not have. Mere slander, and lazy slander at that. Go worship your magic underwear, and leave the grownups to talk about important things.

Glenn! You aren't a religious leader! You have no right to be spewing this putrid load of crap about "collective salvation". Look, the President isn't preaching to us, he isn't a religious leader. He is talking about politics. If we have poor people in a society, it brings us all down, it lowers our standard of living, it endangers us. It is important that we bring everybody up, or otherwise, we will all go down together. Religion has nothing to do with this! And no, you aren't a Christian, and you aren't very Godly, because your own hateful, nasty, angry actions betray the lies that come out of your mouth!

I doubt Glenn would want President Obama taking a big interest or concern into Beck's own religious beliefs. I know I don't want any president concerning himself with my own beliefs and I won't concern myself with the presidents religious beliefs.

Oh, no, the food at Ben's is good, but they give you a huge pile of fries. We had three orders of fries and four people and probably a nice serving was left over. I felt kinda bad leaving food on my plate, but there was no room. We didn't eat dinner last night. It is right across the street from two Ethopian restaurants. I have never had Ethopian food, but have heard it was good. Ben's is on the Yellow line, my home line, it's a quick ride. I want to go back.
