I have to disagree with Klein when he say Beck is a paranoid lunatic. Beck is a con man who has figured out a way to make money off of paranoid lunatics.

I'm inclined to agree. I don't think he really believes any of his own bullsh*t.

I don't think Beck has any really strongly held beliefs. That is why he flies from conspiracy theory to theology to socialism like a honey bee.

Agreed. He seems to have landed on one now that resonates pretty well with his zombies. I expect to see much more of Moses Beck in the coming months.

You're both missing Glennie's one fiercely held belief. "If it makes Glennie money, it is good!" I know, it slipped your mind.

Beck is a sociopath. Most con men and cult leaders are. They have no sense of right and wrong except that anything they do for themselves is right and anyone who stands in the way of what they want is wrong and must be destroyed.

Well, sure. That's what they do.

You could throw in the G.O.B.P. and the rest of the tycoons the G.O.B.P. labors for as well.

Beck is the epitome of someone who lacks critical thinking skills. He is easily manipulated by books and people who come into his life. David Barton is a perfect example. Beck believes Barton's schtick and then turns around and pushes it on others. He reads a book and think it contains all the answers to the universe. Ultimately, he is a simple minded fool who is really good at manipulating others.

Had Becky been less fortunate in the Radio business, he'd be selling AMWAY.

Ha, Amway is very popular among Mormons and in Utah period. No Unions involved, don't ya know?

And a study once demonstrated that most Amway sales people make far less than minimum wage. As independent distributers they have been liberated from that particular progressive government tyranny. They are free to make as little as the market will bare, thereby freeing up additional profits for Amway.

You nailed it. There are those that got in on it early and do make big money, but they are few and far between. They make their money from their "down line".

I don't think it's fair to call Beck a puppet of Murdoch.

I see him more like an ill tempered, runt of the litter pit bull; one who has been giving his owner fits as he attempts to assert his alpha male dominance, and who has apparently contracted, and is displaying the first signs of rabies.

There's going to come a time when Murdoch and Ailes are going to have to give a firm tug on Beck's leash. I think it will be fun to see Glenn turn on them and attack when they do.
