Is this the best YOU can do? Sean, we don't hate you...we just don't pay much attention to you. Beck has ripped off your lame uber-patriotic, nativist schtick and you are yesterday's fish wrap.

'...we don't hate..."is in reference to his smug and smarmy invitation to call in on his radio show's weekly "Hate Line" (does he still have a radio show?)

Republicans simultaneously believe that Obama was wrong to "cut and run" from Iraq "before the job is done" AND that he hasn't given Bush enough credit for "winning" as we start our withdrawal. Will anyone point out the inconsistency in this argument?

They certainly have a strange idea of "winning". No functioning government with their infrastructure tattered and millions dead, maimed or displaced.

        Sick.

Actually they wanted him to say we were victorious so they could call him a liar. The only success or victory in Iraq was for Halliburton.

Of course Sean would have liked to hear that, so that he could call Obama a liar the next time an American dies in Iraq.

If by "victorious" you mean epic disaster, well sure.

Don't forget to add the cost of ignoring Afghanistan for seven years to the bill for shrub's excellent Iraqi adventure.

And there were all those other costs, too, besides the blood and direct treasure.

In other news, disgraced Fox News personality Sean Hannity was today sentenced to 75 years in prison.

I can recall listening to Hannity's radio show during the build up to the war. I remember him offering up every excuse, every rationalization, every phony issue he could to "justify" the invasion.

So, I personally would like to hear Sean say, "I was wrong."

Well said. When will the right-scream media admit that there were no WMDs, Saddam wasn't going to attack us, Saddam wasn't in cahoots with Al Qaeda, etc.?

As well, what "victory" did we achieve?"

        -There is no government.
-The sects still dislike each other.
        -There is still violent insurgence.
        -There is still sectarian violence.

Hannity would have liked the president to have said "we we're victorious".

I would have liked him to have said free ice cream for everyone or even just for me.

I'm grown up enough to understand that I won't get my wish because it's kind of stupid to expect free ice cream, even though it would make me happy.

Sean is a bit childish to expect the president to make up something that would make him happy, even though it was preposterous.

Hannity needs to grow the f_ck up.

Keep whining, InSanity. No one's really interested in what you want. The world is fact-based. We are still in Iraq, and things there are still messed up there. No U.S. victory will ever be possible in Iraq or Afghanistan. We can only hope to stabilize the region.

What I would have loved to have seen was the President land on an aircraft carrier wearing a flight suit and then give a speech with a big "Mission Accomplished" banner behind him. That would really show victory!

The only parties who were victorious in Iraq are:

      1. Iran.
      2. Halliburton.
      3. Blackwater.
      4. Al Qaeda.
      5. The Oil and Gas Industry.
      6. China and Russia.
      7. And the rich who drained the coffers dry with tax breaks which added 2.4 TRILLION to the US debt, debt unobserved by right wingers who were too busy waving the Flag and patting Bush on the back.

I guess I missed the fair and balanced part of this "panel of experts".

Nothing on God's green earth could get most Americans to watch this smelly excrement.

If only the Democrats were truly progressive. The votes are there for those willing to be. Instead, it's corporate Tweedledum and corporate Tweedledee, and so the weirdness of the crazy right, and all the extremely strange baggage that comes with it, will probably be ascendant again for at least the next two years.

Sean Hannity is the biggest idiot on planet earth (hate has a lot to do with that).
Why in the world would Obama say "we were victorious" when he opposed the war from the beginning?
The only reason why Obama said "gracious" words about Bush is because he is a real President. That doesn't mean he believes Bush was right in any way. In fact, Obama said he disagreed with Bush. It's hilarious to hear Klannity say he would have liked to hear those words from Obama when it is clear he would have a problem no matter what the President says.
Those who think Sean has any crediblity are mentally challenged or racist like him....or both.

"Sean Hannity will be waterboarded for charity right after this commercial break."

"Ok, we admit it- this entire network is dedicated to the destruction of the 'Democrat' party, and has nothing to do with 'news' at all."

Would you believe you're agreeing with.. The John Birch Society?!
Years ago, when Rush was still fairly 'new' as a 'commentator', they had an article in their New American magazine (I have -somewhere?- a photocopy of the article, it's no longer available online) that looked at the phenomenon of his show. They figured that if Rush been offered more money by 'liberals', he would have been working for them instead of 'conservatives'. I do recall the mention of Limbaugh getting to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom (Again, IIRC) as one of the events that they used as having 'turned' Rush.
