Beck is only jealous that he witnessed a conspiracy theory he did'nt think of. His claim that he has debunked conspiracy theories is especially rich , seeing that his record of originating said theories is right up there with the best of 'em.

I think you got it. He debunks OTHER conspiracy theories to make room for his own chalkboard-based conspiracy theories, like OLIGARH.

I've never heard Nostradumbass actually debunk a conspiracy theory... but maybe he has.

I think it's a safe bet that he fabricates more than he debunks.

It was awhile ago but he did debunk a specific "FEMA camp" (if that counts as a conspiracy theory). Turned out to be some sort of vehicle maintenance facility if memory serves. At the time I thought he would use that story as an example of his credibility. Maybe that's what he's referring to now.

He claims he debunked that conspiracy theory. He actually advanced it for a while by saying he wasn't able to debunk it.

Very true... It's like his calls for nonviolence... a 30second plea after 3 hours of using the most violent imagery He can imagine... Which, incidently, is pretty freaking disturbing.

And, seeing as he was the one who ORIGINALLY proposed it, the only person he debunked was . . . himself . . .

Don't get me wrong - I don't think he INTENTIONALLY debunks them. I just think that he covers so much territory in advancing his own manic fables that he can't help but have parts of his own mania break a link or two in some of the existing lunacy.

The identification of some theories, the manufacture of others, the half-hearted debunking of some of them and the wholesale acceptance of the rest, lends itself to uncertainty. "You can't trust anyone." "Have you heard about...?" "Did you know about so-and-so in the government who thinks...?" "You know what the purpose of that is?" And on and on. Not only is he insulating his viewers against reason, but he requires anyone that tries to counter the claims of his followers to dig to levels of detail where speculation is all that's available. Speculation breeds paranoia. Beck is the one that guides it. In the end, he's the one that regulates the emotion. He demands a communicable framework of excessive detail. It makes the paranoia contagious.

Doing a quick search on Snopes.com, three references to Glenn Beck come up:
Consumers visiting the 'Cash for Clunkers' web site must agree that their computers become U.S. government property?
President Obama signed an executive order to lend $2 billion to a Brazilian oil company?
Wayne Allyn Root wrote in an opinion piece that President Obama is 'purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy.'

BECK: "You don't have an open discussion."
That's interesting. Every single day, Beck accuses people of various crimes against humanity. I don't recall him EVER asking any of them for their sides of the stories.

What -- Becky ask someone else something? Hell, that'd be like him interviewing President Obama, instead of telling us what Obama believes and thinks . . .

Listening to this reminded me of a gymnast I had once seen performing a floor exercise routine. She launched herself into a wild series of twists and flips, lost her balance, and ended up going boom splat on the mat.

There's no padding protecting the Beck.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to tie what happened at Discovery to the administration. I'm impressed. Less than 24 hours. Should have guessed it would be Elmer.

      No more collective pronouns!

Okay Glenn, with all your expertise in "debunking", please, PLEASE tell us just who in Hell are the "they" you're always, ALWAYS referring to?

      Inquiring minds need to know.

Maybe even some of your regular viewers.

The only conspiracies you debunk are the ones you can't make any money off of. If you can make a profit, you'll spread it like melted butter.
