Beck sidekicks sarcastically mock 10/2 rally as "hijacking" Gandhi's legacy: "What are they going to wear diapers too?"

(I mean besides soldiers who disagree with Rush.)
This tedious display of sarcasm is based upon their turning to the Google and discovering that 10/2 is the date of Gandhi's birth--something that wouldn't be generally known to U.S. citizens.
King's 8/28 speech, of course is better known (granted, more people were probably more familiar with the words and context of the speech--something that will not happen with the Beck--than the actual date). Yes, it's entirely possible that Beck and company were absolutely unaware of the significance of holding a rally on that particular date at that particular location (when you've got Barton as your history advisor all kinds of things can get wildly distorted) when they were looking for an available Saturday. Nevertheless, they pushed ahead once they supposedly became aware of that date's meaning and asked us to accept it was the divine will of God at work.
So, it we are to charitably accept what this weak display of satire is based upon, Beck's brainless buds are basically saying that the date of King's speech holds no more significance than any other piece of trivial information, and that treating it with some sort of respect was less important than incorporating it into their marketing.
What idiots.
As I said, I'm willing to bet that a lot of people were unaware of the exact date of King's speech, but it's certain nearly everyone knows the location and the significance. Nevertheless, the Insane Rodeo Clown's Posse has offered sarcasm that suggests they equate the actual date to being something only marginally significant--after a several week build up of telling us how this was determined by the hand of God.
So, lame jokes that expose just what unthinking clods they are, and clearly reveals how they, employees of the Beck, have sacrificed any integrity they might have once had for the chance of collecting a paycheck for standing by their man.
Another day at the office at Mercury Radio.
Hmmmm. Mercury. A Roman God. Wonder how the Black Robe gang feels about how their #1 spokesperson embraces a pagan figure?
I think Welles is spinning in his grave.
Nevertheless, I'm still amused that the Wholly Owned Profit Beck, the new self proclaimed messenger of God, owns a company that holds the name of the messenger of the Roman gods.
Give me a chalkboard and an hour of air time. I could provide all kinds of "proof" of the Beck's secret pagan ways!
get this, the shows news bulletin format was specially effective and deceptive and many people complained
So the Beck show does have its roots in the Mercury Theatre on the Air
Glenn Beck loves money too much for me to believe he is voluntarily coughing up 10% of his earnings. More likely, he has probably negotiated the definition of his "earnings".
BTW, is the 10% tithe based on gross earnings, taxable earnings, after-tax earnings...?
That's actually what I was getting at...
The way he ACTS on this show, the things he says, and many of the premises he presents are contrary to the teachings of the Mormon church. It's really disgusting and misrepresents the Mormon religion.
These idiots follow like two pages in the Bible and disregard the rest because they're inconvenient like lying and non bearing false witness against thy neighbor.
Man I hope they get more people than these jackarses. I'll be there.
