This is the kind of refreshing stuff I like to see on MMFA. You guys do great work here and should be commended. I also think it is time for the Left to start hitting back. Instead of always reacting to NeanderCon nonsense let's take the fight to them and make them react instead! Gold medals MMFA!

Glenn Beck: Obama agenda driven by "reparations" and desire to "settle old racial scores"

Limbaugh: "Obama's entire economic program is reparations"

Limbaugh: Obama administration's economic "objective" is "unemployment" and "more food stamp benefits ... think forced reparations"

I loved how Matthews called Beck followers Moonies. That is a perfect description. When the reporter asked the Baggers at the Mall if they knew that Beck called Obama a racist, they acted as if they had no idea what he was talking about. Please. These people are so flippin' brainwashed there is nothing left in their craniums besides Jell-O. It is really scary.

The videos great, but did you see the gallery of still photos ?

TeaPartyTracker describes their target as racism and other extremism in the tea party.

There were a couple of wingnuts posting comments, and they went to each photo that didn't have anything blatantly racist, and asked where the racism was. They were trying really hard, but couldn't see any racism in the pics that fell under "other extremism".

They conveniently missed the photos with the "Go back to Kenya" stuff, I'm assuming they missed them because there were no comments insisting they couldn't find any racism at those..

This behavior indicates a purposeful dishonesty, not mere stupidity or lack of self-awareness.

So Beck has the same effect on his followers as Hulu does on its viewers? Well, OK, Hulu is looking for a pudding-like consistency, while Jello has far more water and far less substance, but still - interesting parallel.

I think I may download some Hulu commercials and dub Beck over the original soundtrack....

so, "reparations" is now rightwing code for racist? do tell? when did mr. rabin-havt become proficient in reading minds? or, is this just an assumption he's made, because, of course, anyone who doesn't agree with the idea of reparations is, by definition, a racist?

no doubt, many people who disagree with the concept of reparations are racist. no doubt, many are not. it so happens, i'm torn on the idea myself. while i agree with it conceptually, i see no realistic/fair way to bring it from concept to reality.

however, instead of tarring everyone who doesn't agree with the idea of reparations a racist (sure to make friends and influence people), he might have reached out to these people, and explained why they were wrong, without calling them names.

unfortunately, that would have required some actual thought, and wouldn't have been nearly as much fun for us "liberals".
