I use those carts myself, mainly because I cannot afford one of my own, and the last time I looked - yesterday, I think - they said "IN STORE USE ONLY". So, if you are taking them out of the store, you are violating the agreement. Why don't you just go get the car for your mother, instead, so that she won't have to walk far from where - IN THE STORE - she gets off the scooter.
