The thing about this plan I don't get, is how would it do anything but make Fox, O'Keefe and Brietbart look like playground bullies?

What strikes me foremost about O'Keefe's master plan to embarrass CNN is that it's so juvenile and lame.

Let's not overlook the critical part of O'Keefe's plan...to give Fox News a heads up. Get that? This schmuck simply assumes that Fox will participate. No ifs, ands, buts, or maybes.
Apparently Fox has spoiled its conservative cohorts with its own willingness to help them out whenever called upon.

Actually while your wondering is sensible, presuming that Fox news can do anything but be totally anti Obama is not credible. Their news standards constantly dip at any chance they get to harass our President. You ought to go to a Republican precinct meeting and listen once in awhile. Racism prevails all the time. Making objections on points of politics is what opposing parties do. Purely racist comments just make the commentor look bigoted, infantile, and silly! So welcome to the Republican Party reduced to a hate machine. I could not stand to go anymore and listen to their garbage.

That presumes that the radical wing of our Party makes sense. They do not! It seems they lose if their comments are based on rational ideas so O'Keefe and Breitbart are reduced to these kindergarten stunts. You can decide how demented they are getting by the foolishness of their attacks.

When CNN is doing a story on dishonest rightwing hack journalists, O'Keefe should get attention. That's why he's getting attention here.

It's counter-productive to avoid calling out the serial liars. That's why Obama called out FoxNews the other day.

OMG, The Lager Lad at Kos had this great take on it:

Here was O'Keefe's plan in a nutshell: He was going to wave a dildo in Abbie Boudreau's face and she would instantly become so filled with lust, that she would lose all sense of professionalism and he would have recorded the greatest "gotcha" moment of all time.

              Say it aint so grrson!!

As a happily and openly gay man, I certainly would not want those creeps in our mating pool, even in a closeted manner.

Not that I am pushing them onto the straight world either...

In fact, I dont think anyone should have to endure any physical contact with either of those loosers.

I mean, could you imagine a boney, greasy slug like Okeefe pressing his business all over you? Let alone having the nightmare experience of waking up next to the creep?

The guy has all the sexual appeal of a rotten-fish carcass.

And Breitbart, with those glassy cracked-out eyes, and that hateful sneer permanantly frozen on his enormous, blistered barrel-shaped head... oy! Not a chance!!!!... Not even with all the booze and pills money can buy!!!

Anyhow, i know you meant well grrson, but the idea of James or Andy playing on our team just gives me the willies (hell, its bad enough we have to cope with Peter Thiel).

James and Andy are the exact opposite of anything handsome, loving, erotic or attractive... let alone anything decent and human.

I know you mean well magnolialover, but as a gay man I have to say, please dont place him with us.

Its not just that James has, in fact, actively railed against us and repeatedly tried to assault gay-rights.

But even though a self-loathing bigot like Peter Thiel is his sugar daddy, I dont want our happily gay mating-pool to be sullied by the grotesque, boney, fish-belly likeness of James OQweef the Tird.

Not that i want to push him into the straight camp either. He is just too gross for any one (I mean, could you imagine waking up next to that!?!?!?)

Suffice to say, OKeefe is just the opposite of anything attractive, either physically, emotionally, morally, spiritually, or what not.

But going back to something we were discussing yesterday, when the facts are against them, many conservatives and or tea party members will disregard the facts because they think it's just liberal bias in the media. Like how Palin would lose big time to Obama in a 2012 match up.

They think the media is lying to them, so that they won't nominate Palin, so that they CAN nominate Palin so she can WIN!

      Damm!

Since she knew in advance, I wish Abbie would've done a double-punk and taken this little jurkoff right up to the point where he stripped first.

She could have then revealed her hidden camera (mmmm... thoughts wandering... must return to point... mmmm...).

Anywho, maybe it wouldn't have been 100% ethical journalism, but it would've been some really fun video.

O'Keefe called Boudreau on August 10. During the conversation, he said he preferred that Boudreau meet him in person in Maryland and asked that she come alone.

"I just want to talk," O'Keefe told Boudreau on the phone. "I just want to have a, you know, meeting with you, and talk to you face to face about this. Because, I don't, I feel sort of, let's just say reserved about, about letting people into my sort of inner sanctum, about letting, letting people sort of take a glimpse into, into, behind the scenes, so that's why you know, I just feel more comfortable if it was just me and you and we just had a face-to-face meeting before I agree to, to let you guys come out and shoot the video shoot out there."

The phone call was recorded without Boudreau's knowledge, but CNN obtained a copy of the recording after O'Keefe e-mailed it to friends and colleagues. Boudreau agreed to the meeting, which she understood would be in his office.

Doesn't that sound like someone who was planning on punking her once she got onto the boat?

And isn't it illegal in Maryland to audiotape someone without their knowledge?

The wiretapping is child's play in comparison with the fraud he was perpetrating. If you consider the travel, lodgings, and the costly time of a CNN reporter, you are starting to look at some pretty sizeable cash. Maybe in the range of five to six thousand dollars or so that CNN would personally be out of pocket?

And depending on where she was traveling from, say if she was in the headquarters in Atlanta, then we are talking about a fraud that took place across state lines. That's federal jurisdiction if I am not mistaken.

If I am correct, then wiretapping is the least of his concerns.

        I agree completely CohibaMan.

And in a logical world, all this would have back-fired on him last year. If it was anyone else, they would have been outed and forgotten a long time ago.

But sadly, OKeefe and pals speak to a demographic that happily embraces lunacy, feeds on lies and and deliberately cultivates misplaced anger with gusto. Its the only way they know how to be.

He is just an impotent mini-me of Karl Rove. While Roves lies have cost the lives of countless innocent people, OKeefe kicks homeless people to the street and attempts to smear innocent people. Worse yet, he gets paid for this stupidity.

If he werent recieving funding and backing from such high rollers in the GOP (and if they didnt rely so heavily on his bald-faced lies as part of their elaborate complex of politcal scheming), he would have wound up in the loony bin a long time ago, where he most likely belongs.

But as bad as he makes himself look, we have only his (very rich and influential) idiot followers and supporters to thank for his continued and bothersome stupidity.

Its sad... I know kids who totally oppose the wars, but need to join the military to pay for school or support their families. And while the rest of America is dealing with real hardships and problems, idiot OQweef gets fat wads from Peter Thiel and Rush Limbaugh, just to make more of a time-wasting, money wasting nuissance of himself, and drain his supporters of their cash.

I wont believe the GOP has any sense of fiscal responsibility until they roundedly condemn that waste of skin.

Does anybody else find it weird that the MRC's Brent Bozell, III came out and condemned O'Keefe yesterday?

"The MRC unequivocally denounces James O'Keefe for his attempted assault on CNN. It isn't just childish and immature; it's ugly, dishonest and filthy," Brent Bozell said in a statement.

"There is no place in the conservative movement for this type of behavior," Bozell said.
Bozell is wary of what he calls "the new Internet journalists" and calls on conservatives to heavily scrutinize so-called journalists like Okeefe.

You really should read the 13-page outline of the master plan. It is astonishing look into the mind and ethics of the new Right wing journalism.

      Behold this small excerpt below:

If we were to offer evidence of racism (to CNN),....and produce enough supporting evidence to prove the claim we make, have them write a story and then prepare out allies to pounce (Fox News, et al.) it could be a good way to undercut their credibility.

Things we could use to entice them:
      1. False video evidence.
      2. False textual evidence and documents
      3. False interviews
