          No. I listened to Rush almost every day back in the 90s (masochist that I am). This was one of his favorite tunes back then.

            You beat me to it. This is like finding a Jerry Seinfeld routine on television, hearing him talk about men switching channels quickly while women watch what's on for a while before switching channels, and thinking "Ok, this is from the early-90s."

            What's next? A rant concerning "FemiNazis?" Memories of "Vice President Igor?" and "Der Schlickmeister?"

      Rushie's full of .... but even if you believe the nanny state comment what does that say about the GOP?? With minorities leaning toward the Democratic Party I guess that means that the GOP doesn't have ANYTHING better to offer minorties (or anyone) than a nanny state????

      GOP/RW says:
      Nanny State = bad but we got nothing else. You would LOVE our plan; our plan would fantastic and allow you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, exercise your personal responsiblity and show of your american exceptionalism, etc, but we misplaced it.

          Maybe El Blimpo is simply recognizing "non-idiots" as a minority in the U.S. It's true, the Dems as a party seem to attract brighter people, and from the calls I've heard Rush take, there are very few non-idiots in his base.

          Rush is just accepting the rise of the Idiocracy, and doing a little bragging about the part he's played in bringing it about.

          Keep that in mind, any time you hear Rush use the word "minority". He means "people who are a lot smarter than he or his drooling numbskull fans".

      Nah, it's more like things when you expel gay groups from attending your conservative conference, or I should say, other groups boycott because teh gays are there. Or, same thing, just change gay, for Muslim.

      My lord, what would these guys think if they ran into a gay Muslim?

      Not to mention, at times, just outright racism practiced by those leading the party, and those within the party (caveat, not everyone who adheres to a conservative, or republican ideology are racist).

      The vast majority of African American adults are middle class or better. They aren't on any sort of assistance. These people vote overwhelmingly Democratic.

      Those are facts. How do they square with the "minorities vote Democratic to protect the welfare state" line of argument?

          In Limpball's mind, and in his listeners minds only non-whites are on any kind of public assistance. All these people see are lazy ni@@ers sucking down 40's and shooting dope, and Sp!c women having "anchor babies" so they can collect welfare, and they believe it because the cowardly draft dodger said it.
