Keith made his exit with class and dignity intact.

While you, Bernie Goldberg, a once respected news journalist, well you've become a go to toady for a clown.

Yeah how dare Bernie document the "class and dignity" that olbermann displayed when he told the POTUS to "shut up" and called him a "pathological liar" and the "idiot in chief" . Real classy guy that olbermann, he fit right in with the trash at msdnc. But in the end, even they couldn't take him any longer, it started with Tom Brokaw and proceded up the chain.

        See ya keith!

Nothing is more certain to get a person the hatred of right wing America than telling the truth.

And the most offensive truth one can tell, to the right, is to accurately describe a liar as a liar. Idiots like Faillib have invested their entire lives in lies, and they've been trained to believe that using the word "liar" is simply mean-spirited name calling, and an assault on free speech.

So then by your standards, it is perfectly acceptable to refer to Obama as idiot in chief for his lies about reducing health care premiums by 3000%, that is idiotic and he must know it if he is as smart as you think, so he is lying in addition to being an idiot. He has also lied about closing Gitmo, the Iraq war. that would make him a pathological liar. Didn't he also claim that he would veto any bill with earmarks? Sure did. The man is simply pathological liar. The evidence is there.

But a 3000% reduction in health care premiums, that is simply idiotic.

And idiots like you can't see it, how are those truths for you?

And I wonder how many times you spoke up over the 8 years of the Bush administration as the liberal trash in this country called Bush a nazi? Care to elaborate you typical hypocritical liberal. Did you criticise the latest nazi insults hurled by another liberal piece of garbage congressman cohen? I'll bet you were quite silent. And even now you continue with your insults. Even the current POTUS is abandoning your ilk. You and your kind are insignificant.

First of all, Keith Olbermann never called Bush a Nazi (although he did call him a fascist, which Dubya certainly was. If you don't believe me, look up Wikileaks). And secondly, yes, there were a few liberals who compared Bush to Hitler, but back when that happened, the same conservatives who would later do the same thing with Obama accused those liberals of "giving aid and comfort to the enemy". Furthermore, I would never compare any President to Hitler, but at the same time, let's be honest: who do you think has more in common with Hitler-someone who wants every American to have access to health care, or someone who lied and mislead a country into a war that killed millions of people? I think the answer's pretty obvious.

And as for Steve Cohen, he was not comparing Republicans to Nazis-he was comparing their "death panel" scare tactics and propaganda to the propaganda that the Nazis used that led to the Holocaust. In my opinion, Cohen was right. The way I interpreted it, Cohen was basically saying that that kind of propaganda could lead to bad things. Perhaps it was bad timing, but I thought he was telling the truth.

I'm curious to know what your personal standards of "class and dignity," and "classless and shameful," are, fairlib.

Do tell, and then after that perhaps we can match Olberman's departure against this kick 'em when they're down moment being offered by O'Reilly and Goldberg.

And, if you're game, we certainly don't have to limit things to that. You can offer up as many examples as you wish of Olbermann crossing a line on Countdown so long as we're permitted to offer up samples of our own from The O'Reilly Factor. Be ever so careful about how you set your definition because I've got a hunch we could go two to one, three to one, five to one, or more when it comes to offering examples of less than classy moments that have come from Andrea Mackris' former boss.

Nevertheless, I'll stand by what I said about Olbermann's exit. A thank you to his audience. One last Thurber story with a bittersweet message. One final, "Goodnight and good luck;" a tag line he borrowed from another for reasons we're all aware.

But I already know that your won't utter a peep , you will go to great lenghts to rationalize his style and boorish behavior. Personally I'm a bigger fan of Rachel Maddow, and, as much as I appreciated Keith, she quickly elevated herself to my favorite television news personality ever.

Witty, intelligent, well informed, and not one to ever scream. Tell me, who else on Fox, MSNBC, or CNN can measure up to her?

O'Donnell may have the 8:00 slot, but Dr. Maddow gets the ball.

Well how many instances in the decade of O'Reilly's dominance can you mention? Who are you going to bring up? Glick , a far left zealot who totally rewrote history and leveled personal insults, that moron got exactly what he deserved, he was factually incorrect on his entire premise. Barney Frank who blatantly lied about his past statements about Fannie Mae? Barney Frank who loves to shout on his own and shout down questions asked of him. Phil Donohue? Donohue started the shouting, should O'Reilly just sit and take it?

          Your argument is bogus.

But I'll wait for you to document that I am wrong. You have 10 years to find all the incidents.

But why not comment on O'Donnell's behavior, are your standards just for O'Reilly and Fox?

It says a lot about you that you'll attack a man who lost his father and was upset about it and defend a man who shouted him down and reportedly threatened to murder him.
should O'Reilly just sit and take it?

Everyone knows only Andrea Mackris is supposed to do that.

But why not comment on O'Donnell's behavior,

You should watch the interview yourself and see that Glick had ample opportunity to speak his mind. In fact O'Reilly did even say after Glick had recited all of his inaccuracies and bogus charges that he was entitled to his opinion. Glick was clueless, didn't even know the basics of what he was talking about. And that jerk is a teacher. The shouting didn't start until Glick got insulting , the favorite tactic of the losers on the left. You criticise me for "attacking" Glick who lost his father? How much respect did you pigs show John McCain in the last campaign?, a man who was a POW and suffered life long injuries due to his service. Do you remember all the names and insults you trash had for him?

Rare occassion? That is O'Riley's main way of working. He either talks over them until they stop, cuts their mic or tells them to shut up. But that is only when he has someone on that doesn't agree with him, which is rare. When O'Riley appeared on Tim Russert he shouted at Paul Grugman because Grugman called out O'Riley on his behaviour. When O'Riley was on Letterman, Dave spoke over him because O'Riley will talk over another person to silence his opposiiton.

I find it funny that you think Fox is accurate or reliable. They are simply paid propagandists, who are not journalists. It is all about the GOP narrative.

O'Riley even lied about winning 2 Polk awards.

I walk around with only one set of rules...speak for yourself. I've read your posts and I can tell you are driven by anger, failure and a real need to belong.
