Right. Cause it's either white, or "da hood."

Of course you come from the hood, Rush. It's a white hood.....with a robe. And some patchwork.

Not from the hood is a reason to criticize him.

From the hood would be reason to criticize him.

And all is right with the world.

Yesterday on MSNBC, while addressing Huckabee's recent "Obama grew up in Kenya" comments, Joan Walsh noted that whenever Obama's critics use his race as grounds for criticism that it's almost always his black heritage that's the target.

Limbaugh is just playing both sides of the fence here. I suppose its his way of trying to be ironic, and as usual, failing.

Ah, CenterRight is clueless. The idiot thought that Pelosi carried the big gavel to "incite" the Tea Parties who had already been incited by Glenn Beck. He/she had no idea that gavel was the same gavel used when Medicare passed in 1965. It was carried as a symbolic gesture, that's all. Any "incitement" had already been carried out by the Beckster and Fox.

Ha! Sometimes I can't even begin to understand how some peoples' brains work. A comment that Republicans were intimidated by Pelosi lead to something about Pelosi inciting crowds with her gavel? What the?

I was pretty shocked to find out that I'm racist against whites and Christians. Considering that I'm white, and "Christian" isn't a race, that's pretty impressive.

It might set off some cognitive dissonance in normal people, but I think it works well with the dittobot brain.

They know that all black people are lazy, violent,gang-bangers, unemployed, inarticulate from the emails the forward.

But then this Obama guy comes along. He's smarter and more accomplished than they are. But he's an elitist, arrogant and condescending How do they explain that to themselves ?

That's where Rush comes in. It's like Hometown Buffet ( probably a lot of overlap with that establishment and Blimpy's audience) you don't have to choose !

Obama's a New Black Panther Thug, except when he's not, then he's a white guy. The modern world must be such a confusing place to the typical Dittohead.

The race baiting rhetoric of "Boss Hog" Limbaugh is getting old, predictable, and tired. First and foremost, white, racial conservatives have the some kind of gall to racialize Pres. Obama given their support of Pres. Reagan used racial code, rhetoric, and symbolism to depict African Americans and whites, particularly poor working class white people. Secondly, I know plenty of African Americans who don't live in the hood and who went to majority white schools up to an through college. Does that make them less "black" as well Limbaugh? And who does this fat tube of lard, this pig of a individual Limbaugh think he is and who is he to define what constitutes being black or what defines black authenticity. Lastly, Limbaugh is a racial hypocrite constantly denying race matters yet in this clip, yet constantly defines Pres. Obama within a racial context and did so during this clip.

Keep in mind that this is the same Limbaugh in 2007 stated to a caller that the concern for the people of Darfur is based on the color of their skin and the Democrats appeasing black people. This is the same Limbaugh who said that Colin is only supporting Obama because of race. This is the same Limbaugh who said, in a response to a school bus beating of a white kid by a group of black kids that "It's Obama's America, is it not? Obama's America, white kids getting beat up on school buses now. I mean, you put your kids on a school bus, you expect -- you expect safety. But in Obama's America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering, 'Yay, right on, right on, right on, right on.' And of course everybody says, 'Oh, the white kid deserved it. He was born a racist, he's white.' Newsweek magazine told us this. We know that white students are destroying civility on buses. White students destroying civility in classrooms all over America. White congressmen destroying civility in the House of Representatives. We can redistribute students while we redistribute their parents' wealth. I mean, we can just redistribute everything. Just return the white students to their rightful place, their own bus, with bars on the windows and armed guards. They're racist. They get what they deserve. Newsweek magazine told us this -- post-racial America. I mean, I wonder if Obama's going to come to the defense of the assailants the way he did his friend Skip Gates up there at Harvard."

This is what Limbaugh is truly about. He is a racial bigot and a racial arsonist making racially loaded statements and speaking in racial code to stir up ratings and cater to his audience, all the while denying how race plays no or little part in America today at the same time. It tired, it's played out and hypocritical and speaks to the kind of person Limbaugh is about.

This is that subtle type of racism that you see more openly with Republicans, that blacks act "black", meaning they act "ghetto", meaning they all wear saggy pants, meaning they're all gang members, meaning they're violent, meaning they're all criminals, meaning they're all scary, meaning it's okay to not welcome them into white neighborhoods.

If they don't act that way, then they're acting "white", which is still a subtle form of racism where you hear things like, "you're a credit to your race," or, "you're so articulate," or "you must have grown up in the suburbs."

For the subtle racists like Rush Limbaugh, and also for the binary-thinking Republicans, there really are only two types of black people: gangsters and Wayne Brady.

It's heartbreaking. My boss, who I've known for over 15yrs, has been like an uncle to me, but he buys into everything Limbaugh and Hannity say, and always wants to talk about it. At work I have to hear everything from how stupid, illegal, and muslim Obama is, to what a great President Sarah Palin would make, and everything in between. It's really putting a strain on the friendship, and it sickens me what a horrible effect fox and hate radio/websites are having on individuals and America as a whole.
