            There is no doubt in my mind Fat Bastard is a deep seated racist (I know, I know, here we go again) and 'tolerant' is right in saying he is upest there are black people period, nevermind one in the White House with more power than him. He is great for saying he lives rent free in Obama's head but who spends a days prep and 3 hours on air ragging on who? Hear how defensive he got after reading a listeners email about how they are fans but 3 hours of Obama bashing every single day is too much and he has lost a side of him they used to like?

      Those are the 2 most likely responses from Limbaugh, IF he even decides to respond to any controversy regarding this statement. But he says so many outrageous things that it's unlikely that this will receive media scrutiny, or that he will face any kind of repercussion. If he does face media scrutiny, Fox News will come to his defense. In fact, they will probably even defend the (lack of) validity to his words.

        What we all know is true is that the vast majority of right-wing nutjobs are extremely upset that the black man is in the white house.

        Heck, most of them don't even think the President of the United States is a US citizen. Just because he's black and has a strange sounding name. I'm glad Obama's mere presence on the national stage is exposing these un-American racists.

        The best part is that the average dittohead doesn't think this is racist. In fact, they'll accuse anybody who does understand it of "playing the race card".

        As a 50 something Republican co-worker said to me shortly after Obama's election, in a defeated and sad tone, " Well, they're in charge now."

        This same guy made a point of telling me, on more than one occasion, that he wasn't racist.

      Until this problem is addressed through the FCC (in light of the fact that this is the public airwaves being privately abused), unless and until that happens, nothing will be done about this, absolutely nothing. This guy couldn't care less what MMFA or anyone else writes about him, or what you think of him or anything else. And don't bother telling me he's on the radio for ratings or market reasons, because it's not true, his purpose and existence is entirely political, it's not market-driven. And besides, it doesn't matter what their intentions are anyway, it's still a private and political abuse of a public resource, the public airwaves, which require an FCC license to broadcast on.

      Rush doesn't hate black people, Rush doesn't care about black people. Rush doesn't hate liberals and he doesn't love conservatives. Rush is committed to his little neck of the woods and will do anything, say anything that keeps him there.

      Rush and those like Rush know that their particular brand of attack media can only go in one direction - that is with the venom that their audience wants. If they take a position, any position that they can not convince their audience is the correct one - their audience will turn on the proverbial dime. These are not loyalist, they are stubbornists and they will not bend, they will not understand and they will not forgive.

      Rush understands that and will constantly have to feed the beast with more and more nasty stuff or suffer the consequences. He is owned. Pity the man who relies on hateful people to like him.
