Basically, if someone has ever been waterboarded, anything he says for the rest of his life is a direct result of the waterboarding...

In fact, John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin was the result of waterboarding.

Michelle Bachmann was once waterboarded years ago...and she hasn't shut up since.

Shaun remains a compulsive liar because Shaun Hannity is a compulsive liar. End of story. Shaun is incapable of giving the facts to any story if there is the slightest possibility to bad mouth Democrats or to lie to cover up the misdeeds of GW or our party. It is absolutely an embarrassment to listen to him, the party hack ideologue.

Hannity lied once, and someone gave him a pat on his head because they liked the lie. When he got a little older, he lied on the radio, and someone gave him a cushy job and a fat check because they liked the lies. He saw Rush Limbaugh making huge money by lying, and decided that was for him. So he ramped up the lies, and the checks got bigger.

My guess is that now he lives the lies, and has no real idea that what he's saying is actually untruthful. He just knows it's what his bosses and listeners want to hear, so it keeps the checks coming. Maybe I'm giving Hannity too much credit, but part of me believes he really doesn't think he's a liar. He just thinks he's a soulless, money-grubbing sellout, and since he thinks that's what America is all about, it doesn't bother him in the slightest.

Oh, based on something that I read that Keith Olbermann said once leads me to believe that Hannity knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He apparently told Olbermann that Olbermann should come over to Fox. He told Olbermann that it was great money. Then he said he would say whatever they wanted as long as the money was good.

I think Sean Hannity is disgusting. I always wonder how these people deal with their children. It's very difficult as a parent to teach your children that lying is bad when they see you lying every day of the week.

And as experts said, torture victims will say anything to make it stop. He could have made that name up in thin air.

I can't make sense of Goldberg's differences with Fox. He'll (lightly) dispute them on this, then go out of his way to slam liberals and distort the truth on a handful of issues.
