      President Obama never got a chance to because the republicans,fox news,republican party media radio,print,and on-line keeps a very long line at the _hit on the USA people stall.It has been a long time since anyone else has got a chance to get in that line.The republicans have thugs who threaten people and tell them that no one is allowed to _hit on the USA people but the republicans,and what ever so-called conservatives they let get in the _hit on the USA people line

      As an Australian I have spent a lifetime being assured by U.S. Administrations of either persuasion that Australia has "no greater friend than the U.S."

      I also remember George W. Bush inflicting that graceless, offensive buffoon, Schieffer, on us as U.S. Ambassador. That more closely resembles faecal matter to the visage than Mr Obama's representative, the urbane and intelligent Mr Bleich.

      The major insult that the U.S. inflicts on its friends and allies is a strong tendency to presume concurrence and support on every issue and to stack on a tanti whenever they don't get it. True friends can disagree without damaging their friendship.
