      How come we are not surpised Beck wouldn't understand the President's "daughter" analogy?

        You're probably just imagining things.

        I wonder if Beck and Limbaugh are encouraged by reading the comments of their followers at this and other websites. They probably check to see if they've gone too far, but they see their dopey fans saying " Dog whistles? What are you talking about ?" and "You libs are always imagining things and playing the race card."

        And they know they can take it to the next level.

        Can't wait for the next scene in Guess Who's Coming to the Caliphate.

          The wingnut whackoos have been in hyper-drive with their hatred lately it seems. It smells like desperation. The left was tough on Bush related to his SPECIFIC actions, but somehow these nutjobs get away with what they do offering virtually zero in the way of specifics. Health care reform. Really?? Very little has actually changed, and what has taken effect has been beneficial for most. Even if these a-holes legitimately hate a policy, it seems like such small potatoes compared to say...I don't know....trillions of dollars wasted, tens of thousands killed in a war we initiated under false premises. There isn't even ONE voice of reason on the Right who can coherently articulate policy solutions alternative to Obama's that aren't steeped in catering to corporate overlords, bigotry, xenophobia and greed. It's why I'll never self-identify as a Repub ever again.

          What will these nutjobs do if Obama is re-elected? They've left themselves no lower level to sink to, unless their veiled calls for violence become actual. Every day they turn the volume louder, come up with more outrageous and fact-free attacks, and damage our country by destroying oppurtunity for productive, respectful political discourse. Don't think I'm alone in feeling like this, but Obama's performance, while still important, no longer drives my voting conscience. I simply reject on every level what the Right has become and the complete and utter lack of values and morality it displays. No one on the Right has the courage or decency to say enough is enough.

            I truly never gave a sh#t about politics. My father called us all in the evening when Nixon resigned and told us this was a big deal and had never happened and I think maybe that jaded me. BUT,having watched the JOY in so many peoples eyes at the very notion that the skinny brown guy with the odd name could ascend to the presidency,made me kind of proud of my country.What the Right Wing Media and its affiliates have done ever since is a stain worse than ANYTHING Nixon may have done.

      Beck does know that Obama was elected, doesn't he? I know Beck still won't get it through his thick skull that Obama is the legitimate POTUS, but it's nothing like "dating". I hope Obama's re-election drives Beck right over the edge.

      I still don't get it. What has Barack Obama done to the country that is so abusive? I mean, really, what has he done that shows the large-scale legal abuses that Bush inflicted, or the economic ruin that Bush enabled? Or the devastation heaped on foreign countries by wars he launched? And who are these nefarious people that Obama has associated with besides a lot of poor to middle income Blacks and Liberals? Yes, he was on a committee with Bill Ayers, decades after Ayers had sworn off bombs and had faced the law for his crimes. But who else? George Soros, a man who hid from the Nazis and then figured out how to make money in the free market that Glennie claims to love. Soros put his money towards helping people throw off oppressive governments, to achieve and excersize freedom, but those are bad things because Soros opposed George Bush. And speaking of Bush, he and his cronies sodomized the Constitution, but that was okay with Beckie because they sure loved their country!

      Actually, the first time I heard of Obama was at the 2004 Democratic convention. If my math is correct, I believe that was seven years ago.
