It is troubling that the entire GOP kisses the rings of Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdock. What's even more troubling is that Roger and Rupert grovel at the alter of Cmdr Pill Popper.

Notice how FOXPAC is slowly starting to steer away from the republican presidential candidates now that America sees their craziness and Cmdr Pill Popper is starting to say FOX "news" is turning into a bunch of appeasing wusses.

GOP candidates don't 'feel', they 'know' that they have to kiss the ring (and more!) of Ailes in order to get anywhere.

I agree to some extent, they may feel they have to kiss Ailes' ring but they do know they have to kiss Rush's ring or at least one of his body parts.

"Roger Ailes' ring" refers to his brown ring. Does that answer your question?

That's funny, Wolf. As soon as I heard the news I began to wonder who would be the first to give Shrub the credit. I expected it to be Bollocks, not Darth himself.

It's only Bush's war when something goes spectacularly right. The rest of the time it's either Obama's war or it's "war, what war?"

What it takes for Rodger to have the power of that ring is costing Murdoch a lot of money in lost ad revenue.Murdoch has a problem with lost ad revenue Like stockholders saying getting rid him may be the only thing that will keep their money in news corp........The flight news corp stock holder money would reduce the value of Rupert Murdoch's media empire considerably. The business resucturing Vultures are waiting. Their fee is whatever they can eat. They eat a lot,and are very greedy......Maybe that is why Murdoch is sucking out a hundred here, and there. .....Rodger Ailes has about a year on his fox news contract....Whoever replaces Rupert Murdoch probably will not renew Rodger's contract.Or news corp stock holders may kick against renewing Rodger's contract.....This puts everyone at fox news doing the Rodger Dance jobs in jeopardy......What will the republican party do when Rodger no longer has a ring to kiss.......Who is the heir to the ring Rodger now wears that controls the republican party, and has been used to pro-long the pain suffering of millions of people in the USA every day for the past few years????...Who is heir to the ring now worn by Rodger, that gives the wearer to power to ruin nations if the wearer of the ring now worn by Rodger does not get their way????

Democrats will probably win back the House in a landslide.

The American people--not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed--have finally seen through The Tea Party crap.

I'd like to think you'e right, and I hope you are. Recent history in New York's 9th, however, reminds me of H. L. Mencken's quip that no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

As I have often stated on ths site, Uncle Rupert's management style is not based on the brown nosing of his executives. Historically he has employed both the best and the worst in his empire. Both have generally been alowed to run their little bailiwick and as long it was run effectively and profitably the executives were left to get on with their business. The major bust-ups tended to be centred around single incidents the closest to an editorial based sacking would be when Adrian Deamer published a leader attacking the Sprinbok cricket tour in The Australian.

Ailes will survive until he stuffs up and gets caught like the N.O.T.W. mob. Murdoch loyalty extends no further than expediency.

Roger is what Ailes Fox and non-Democratic politics in the U.S. Rupert is more of a not-so-innocent bystander.

      Not to mention limpballs @ss.

Why are they wasting air on the obvious!

The public would be much better served if they had on Dick and Liz to tag-team President Obama for taking out one his own.

True, it's obvious, but for the past 15 years, all other major news organizations have conveniently ignoring Fox News's methods.

At least once in a while, someone at CNN has a moment of ill-conceived clarity and takes on Fox News. We have to relish those moments when they occur because they are rare, and dangerous to the pundit who brings it up.
