      See Gutfeld is without an ounce of integrity. I would remind YOU of two things Gutman. First OWS isnt calling for armed insurrection against either the TeaParty or the government and that our side is a whole lot smarter and better armed than brainwashed morons like you think.

      This mans lack of decency should disqualify him from being taken seriously when ranting at the Library much less spewing his ignorant vitriol on an actual TV program on what is SUPPOSED to be a news network

          Yeah, it's obvious teh libs don't have guns. You never see them packing at political rallies or the supermarket.

          It wouldn't occur to me to include a gun on my Christmas card, any more than my Skilsaw or my dishwasher.

          I'm pretty non-violent, and think we're pretty safe from civil war with the wingnuts, but it would be funny to see how surprised they'd be to find out that smart people don't show everybody how many guns they have.

            My late wife was a member of MENSA and kept a gun in her purse at all times. When buying a new purse the first thing she looked for was where her gun would go. I was engaged to her for a month before I knew she even HAD a gun

        You can't buy a fully automatic assault rifle. Well, yes you can but it has to from the era before the ban of the sale of such things, and those are hard to come by, as in, almost impossible unless you have very deep pockets, and even then, you have to get licensed to own one, and the weapon has to be registered.

        You could hunt with almost any assault rifle.

          Actually, many states prohibit the use of any .223 caliber for hunting big game but most allow 7.62mm Russian. The problem is that there aren't many good hunting bullets in that caliber. Personally? I don't trust semiautomatic rifles, handguns, or shotguns. I prefer a weapon that I know will not jam and I prefer magnum rifles or, at least, a good ol' 30-30 lever action. My favorite rifle is a Colt-Sauer straight pull bolt-action chambered in .300 Winchester Mag. It's a bit over powered for deer but I like to make any miscalculations in favor of killing whatever I point it at with one round. It's also fun to try for small groups at 700 yards (the longest distance at my favorite rifle range). This requires hand-loaded ammo but I rather enjoy loading my own and even spent several years working for an ammunition manufacturer.

          From my perspective, the only use for an assault rifle or high capacity, military style, handgun is armed combat or mass murder.

        There is no better way to celebrate the birth of the prince of peace then having a photo of the family all together, armed (other then using the guns on each other). I bet every one of them will swear they are good fundamentalist Christians, and I bet they are!

      And where, in all of this, are the "Oath Keepers"? For those who forgot, the "Oath Keepers" are a group of, alleged, current and former police and military personnel who took a solemn oath that they wouldn't obey orders to disarm teabaggers or interfere with their 1st Amendment rights. Now that we have seen countless instances of police assaulting peaceful OWS protestors? The "Oath Keepers" have slunk off into the shadows. I guess that Gutboy shares their apparent stance that non-teabaggers are not protected by the Constitution.

          I was going for "cowards" but the sentiment is the same. I would guess that the images of genuine veterans standing between police and protestors has caused them to retreat to their bunkers.

        I wondered about that too Pete. The Oath Keepers were real big on talking about defending citizens and their First Amendment rights. So where are they when the OWS people are being beaten and tear-gassed by the cops? Typical conservatives. All talk and no action.

        Great point.

        OWS skews liberal (as do facts and reality) so they don't matter. The right is insanely hypocritical about things like this when it comes to their protesters vs. our protesters, soldiers, pols, citizens.

        It all fits nicely into their binary, siege mentality view of the world.

        Their side is cherished, patriotic, and wrapped in a flag. The left is viewed as traitorous subhuman baby eaters.

        I'm not sure how many Foxbots are putting OWS protestors on their Xmas card lists, but ( and I'm just a civilian) it doesn't seem like the most clever battle strategy, sending your enemies a photo catalog of your weapons.

      Yeah, this guy was always a little libertarian loony prick from the sidewalk of Fox's Opportunist Journalist Playground for Hacks, to me, and despite the glowing show critique from Ann Coultergiest, he's about as funny as that joke about the smartest kid with down syndrome.
      Anyway, these false equivalencies of "both sides do it" and "the Left being as violent and war-obsessed as the Right" falls right throught the collanders of reason into the abyss of wingnuttery sewage, regardless of who's saying them. This is why, regardless of morals or religious igenuity, I have no problem with liberals and progressive being as rhetorically nasty as them when necessary.
      DON'T RETREAT OWS, RELOAD AGAINST THESE CORPORATE LEECHES. The rest of thinking America is 'right' along with you and will continue to be in the future. Bullies hate to played by their own game on another, more equal turf...

      If this idea gets popular, it could go to a lot of religious and non religious holidays. How about kids looking for the Easter bunny with an AK-47 or an M-16? Would kids be afraid of Halloween if they were packing 45s? What would Thanksgiving be without a little lead in the turkey?
