The President has no problem delaying his vacation unlike the Shrub who was on permanent vacation. Foxtwits fail again.

At least Obama can travel outside the US without fear of being arrested. Bush on a no-fly list. Perfect.

I never thought I would say anything even remotely like this, but these people almost, almost, make me miss Glenn. He at least was occasionally, unintentionally funny. They're (with the exception of Beckel, who clearly has no business being on this show or this network) just stupid. So stupid that it literally gives you a headache to listen to them in anything other than extremely small doses.

          I think you're right David,
Beck was a jackass, but he was just one jackass. Watching 5 total jackasses is truly painful.

Agreed. This is one of the worst television shows on TV, and given FOX's other bad shows, that is saying quite a bit.

I hear you. I can't stand to watch them any more even if it's to research how vile they are. They leave me hoping that the building will burst into flames and I just don't need to beat myself up for my own dark thoughts.

It's interesting to see these media whores inflate the number of jobs that one particular infrastructure project would create, considering how eager they were to dismiss the number of jobs that public infrastructure projects would create.

But this is a Big Oil infrastructure project. If it will make money for Big Oil it must be done.

Let's see. Ever since the route was proposed, Trans-Canada would not listen and insisted on building it across the Sandhills region in Nebraska. (The best example of this type of ground is to know the Sandhills Country Club is ranked in the top 10 golf courses in America and is modeled after a British links course. Underneath this ground, is the Ogallala aquifer, which is the lifeblood of Nebraska agriculture.) When it became apparent they would build it anyway, the Nebraska governor, who is a Republican, called a special session of our legislature, which is controlled by the Republicans. They passed a bill which would have forced Trans-Canada to change it's route. A 5th grader who lives in the Sandhills would know enough that you do not want this route. If anyone is to blame for the delay, it is not the President, but the idiots at Trans-Canada

That's one way to turn a Republican into an environmentalist--when the chickens come home to roost.

Same as when the natural gas folks lease land from ranchers or have mining rights on rancher's land.

The impact of pipelines is severe anywhere on this earth.

Thanks for the article, it's been awhile since I read the Weird Herald (grew up in Omaha)

No ecosystem should endure the pipeline, IMO.
