It is so obvious that Rush is so insanely jealous of the Obamas and particularly of the slim, trim Michelle. But no surprise that someone as hedonistic as he is to become so grossly overweight would try so hard to undermine Michelle Obama's get up and move initiative because she makes him seem like a glutton without saying one word about HIM!.. Well, throw in some large helping of his obvious racism and he certainly defies the Lincoln values of our party. He totally embarrasses any moral thinking Republican with this silliness and his obvious jealousy.

16 years ago, he campaigned at full speed against First Lady Hillary Clinton. Non-stop criticism of her 5 days a week... but she wasn't th eone running for re-election.

The day after Bill Clinton's re-election, Limbaugh comes on and blames his listeners for not keeping focused.

I had not thought of that. But you may have hit on the source of poor Rush's Michelle derangement syndrome. Poor, poor immoral boob! Just picking on a woman because he is so intellectually challenged by her. Let it be known, he does NOT represent my Republican values that come from the Lincoln revolution in race relations.

His deviant behavior is much more deeply rooted in racism, sexism and totally envy and jealousy. poor. poor rush is so eaten up with jealousy of the success of this marvelous black couple that he obviously thinks he needs to TRY to make them fail. And the poor, poor thing just miserably fails on that issues. I am certain the intelligence, talents, and good will the Obamas both have just drives Rush, the racist, right out of what mind he has left after his Oxycontin flings.

Just more projection here from Limbaugh and other richy rich conservatives. Who are actually the ones stating, "Let them eat cake."

Kind of like, oh, I don't know, Newt the other night. When he accussed Obama of being the all time leader in food stamps as a President, while dissing the people who are receiving them, because chances are good, they or their families would go, you know, hungry if they didn't have them.

I remember someone named Limbaugh and others cheering that little bit of stupid rhetoric from Newt.

Who is letting them eat cake again? It can't be Obama, or his wife (not that she has charge over those things anyway, but I digress). Is Obama providing massive food stamps, or is he telling the poor to get lost?

Seems kind of like the other way around.

Of course, she never actually said that line, (apparently, trusting the people who are the main factor behind a revolution to accurately portray those they are revolting against has predictable outcomes.) which just proves my point that limbaugh is an idiot or something like a parrot standing on a broken record.

Actually Limbaugh is far worse than that. He is a racist of the first order, he totally ignores the Biblical rule that we should treat others as we would have then treat us. He also constantly demonstrates his lack of critical thinking ability with his usual racist meme and he conducts his own life as if there were no Biblical rules for conduct. The poor thing seems bereft of moral values that even a child understands. He will have to go some before he even comes close to the intelligence, moral standards and social skills or our wonderful Presidential family. I am a life long Republican but I absolutely and totally reject this racist swill coming out of Rush's mouth. He in no way represents any Christin values and for sure, he has nothing in common with my values since he is so obviously a racist of the first order. He is just plain sick. Unable to argue the issues he pounces on pure racism.

I heard Lispy this morning in yet another hilariously failed attempt by a wingnut to point out "Liberal hypocrisy".

It was about Mitten's remarks that his several hundred thousand in speaking fees was "not much". Of course, the joks are not about any problem with him making the money, it's about being so out of touch.

So Lispy gets one of his lackeys to look up the speaking fees and salaries of some people he considers "liberals", none of whom had referred to their earnings as "not much". He actually thought he was making a point.

He really is blessed with the stoopidest audience on earth. Which reminds me, is donutluvver making good on his New year's resolution to avoid getting his azz kicked so much here ? I miss seeing him try to defend his BF Rush.

I love it when conservatives such as Limbaugh and more than a few who post on here try to define hypocrisy.

Like you stated, hypocrisy to them is a liberal who makes a lot of money for giving speeches. But, said liberal never said he/she weren't making good coin doing it. And as far as I heard, the folks he listed probably haven't said anything about Romney's little "slip up".

This is like how when John Edwards was working to help get people out of poverty and to bring them up in society, according to republicans, that was hypocrisy, because he was rich.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

I heard some of the same type of thing yesterday over on HuffPo from morons on our side of the fence. There was an article about how Santorum's now wife, once dated a doctor who had performed abortions. First they cried hypocrisy! I asked them why? Because she's against abortion, but dated a doctor that had performed abortions. Umm, no folks. She would be a hypocrite if she said she never dated doctors (regardless of what they had done) and THEN dated the guy.

That being said, I was chastised for being in Rick's pocket, and not knowing how that was hypocritical.

OK, some lefties have trouble with the word, too, but it's really rampant among wingnuts.

Several years ago, before I was really visiting website comment forums, where the word is thrown around a lot, I heard Hannity trying to use it. It was in reference to Bill and Hillary Clinton having different opinions on a subject. Hannity actually seemed to think that two people, because they're married or in the same political party, disagreeing was somehow hypocritical.

The stumbling block for internet wingnuts seems to be this; they think that because they can't see the difference between two very different things, anybody who can is a hypocrite.

The saddest thing about Rush's self righteous polemics is that the way he conducts his own life that displays his obvious out of control appetites defies what he is mouthing all the time. He is just a sad, small in values person. but he does have a following of non thinking ditto heads and opportunist politicians who work hard to get his endorsement. On the other hand, if rush endorses anyone, I have to thoroughly check that person's values and guess what, every once in a great while, eh actually endorses some one who is half way decent. Must have been a fluke though.

Newt has been quoted as saying about one of the wives he ditched, I'm not sure whether it was the one who paid his way through college or the one who had cancer, that she wasn't young enough or pretty enough to be the wife of a President. I don't know whether that quote is accurate or apocryphal, but I wouldn't have mentioned it if it didn't seem in character for the man.

From what I understand, Newt's No. 3 was the reason that his entire campaign staff quit last year. She insisted on going with him everywhere he went. Wonder why? I mean she had a 6 year affair with him while he was married to No. 2. You think there's a trust issue there.

For me, anyone's looks are NOT fair game. But their choices in life are. Remember Newt has played around with woman all his life and he had the delusion he was righteous enough to bring down Clinton. We all know just how miserable he failed at doing so. Clinton outsmarted him at every turn. It no doubt was the retribution of God for his pious judgmental ideas. Ooops just re-read this post and guess what, it sounds pious and judgmental. Nevertheless after admitting that, I am still posting it. So everyone, be ware of my bias!

The really awful thing about Callista is that she used to be pretty and normal looking, a real "girl-next-door" look, dirty blonde hair and a normal, average looking face. The face you see now has been Botoxed to the max, and maybe lifted, nipped, and tucked, too. And then there's the ultra Platinum blonde hair helmet, the damage to the ozone from that thing is probably trackable. The crazed look in her eyes is the same one that Laura Bush used to have. Why do politicians do this to their wives? Romney doesn't count, because he's a Ken doll clone himself. But why poor Laura?

      From the headline:
Limbaugh Revives Attacks Against First Lady: "There's A Reason She Is Called Michelle Antoinette"

Yes, because you and your ilk are so relentless and absolute in your crusade to demonize and vilify everything connected to President Obama and his administration.

Michelle Obama is quite simply a lovely and graceful woman who has done nothing but fill her ceremonial duties as the first lady in traditional and ultimately productive ways. She had consciously made the decision to remain out of politics... and all that means absolutely nothing to Limbaugh and his peers.

Yes, Rush, they call her that because you and your fellow paid character assassins could not come up with any legitimate criticisms or attacks. You call her that because it plays into long held stereotypes of "uppity" black people. You call her that because you want to rile up the haters and the racists in your base, you want to throw them red meat and validate their ignorance. You and your fellow smear merchants call her that because your job is to demonize anyone and everyone associated with the Obama administration.

Unfortunately for you, Mr. Rush Limbaugh, people call you an arrogant racist liar because you have an enormous ego and a long record of engaging in race baiting, character assassination, and peddling disinformation.

To the best of my knowledge, Lushbo is the only one who calls the First Lady that. I will agree that there's a reason for that. The reason is that Lushbo is a vile, petty, whiny, racist pig.

It's apparently more obvious, with every syllable uttered by Fatboy, that he has absolutely no grasp of history. I guess we should expect this from a college dropout. Now, try to follow me for a second, Fatboy. The French Revolution happened because of income inequality. The haves pretty much had everything while the have nots pretty much had nothing. This prompted Marie Antoinette to inquire why the have nots were so upset with the ruling class, you know, the haves. When she was told that the have nots were upset because they had no bread to eat, she replied, "then let them eat cake." Now, I ask you, who is it that has railed against the have nots in this country getting a bigger piece of the pie? You or Michelle Obama? You even like to accuse the have nots of being lazy. You think the have nots are less than human. You have no problem with the have nots dying simply because they cannot afford health insurance. There's one way to find out who is closer to Marie Antoinette. We could have a revolution of our own and we'll see who loses their head first, you or Michelle Obama. I don't think you would want to see who wins that one, Fatboy!

The reason she is called Michelle Antoinette is because you called her Michelle Antoinette.

See, I can do it too. There's a reason people call Rush a fat, sexist, racist, homophibic, corporate shill.

Well, actually the reason people call Rush a fat, sexist, racist, homophobic, corporate shill is because all those things are what we call "factually accurate" or, to the layperson, "true."

Rush's use of the term "Michelle Antoinette" for the First Lady is what we would call a "faulty syllogism." Calling Rush a decent human being doesn't mean he is one, just like calling Michelle Obama "Michelle Antoinette" doesn't make her casually ignorant to the plight of the common person. In fact, she's bound to have a better understanding of such things than Rush, if for no other reason than the fact that it's Rush.

Wow, that second one is a mess. You think that Brit is actually that deranged a wingnut, or is he just selling it to American wingnuts?

The reason I checked that link is I recognized the name, I stumbled on it and posted a comment last spring. It's a birther site, and I was quickly bounced off the comments, but I still get the occasional email telling me that I have a reply. They know I'm being blocked, but they keep trying to taunt me as if I'm there.

      Nancy Reagan? Left alone
      Barbara Bush? Left alone
Hillary Clinton? Viciously attacked as an angry woman
-Chelsea Clinton? A certain senator called her the White House dog
      Laura Bush? Left alone
-Bush twins? Left alone despite Jenna's underage drinking bust
Michelle Obama? Crucified as an angry black woman
-Malia and Sasha? Ridiculed on Fox News by the idiot with the chalkboard

      Anyone see a pattern here?

I'm sure these right wingers "remember" the liberal media attacking those republican first families. They "remember" it because it's part of the new perpetual victim-hood theme of the far right.

Like Andy Kriess brought up earlier, Rick Santorum has apparently been weathering such personal attacks against his family, but no one can seem to place when or where or what these attacks were all about.

It's kind of like the film "Total Recall" over on Fox news, and the Fox viewers now can't even determine which menories are real, and which were just implanted there by Fox news.

That was actually our pal Limbaugh who did it on national TV. It takes balls of steel to make fun of a teenager who hasn't done anything to you in national tv.

Must be fair (you know me). Laura Bush was made fun of a bit on "Family Guy". I can think of 2 particularly piquante moments that referenced that former first lady, neither of which were fair, but that's Seth MacFarlane for you.

Hahahahahaha! Limbaugh is jealous of Michelle Obama because she's a successful, confident, black woman in great physical shape, with a husband who loves her. She is also a great mom to her kids, and a role model for millions of people around the world. Limbaugh would rather she not exist, and by attacking her, he's trying to say that he knows she's everything he isn't, but that it doesn't matter, and she should stay in her place--wherever that is, in the back of the bus, maybe?

What is with this man's obsession with the President's wives?

Back in the day, I though he hated Hillary becuase she was kind of acting like the Dick Cheney of First Ladies. (OK - a Democratic one.)

But now? I just think he has a problem strong women who say anything he doesn't tell them to. And that's it. Nothing more.

      Pathetic really.

If and when the Clinton's bragged about their speaking fees, they did not say "it was not much," unlike Romney, who made almost $400,000 sound like loose change. Once again, Rush skillfully avoids the real criticism, creates a new version more according to his envious, mean spirited world vision, and then explodes in "righteous anger," about something no one else is talking about.
