        Honestly, at this point, for being vilified and demonized without uttering a single word? If it was me, I'd let them have it both barrels.

        Obama needs to understand that these people aren't patriots, there is no respectful disagreement, no civility. They are out to destroy him at all costs, no sense, no reason, just pure unmitigated hatred.

        People like that cannot be reasoned with. There are no deals to be struck, no compromises made. They'll wring every concession they can, laugh in your face, vote "no" and then cry to the press about what a bully you are.

        Expose them for the obstructionist hacks they are along with the rabid trolls who cheer them on.

          I'd argue that a desire to further enrich themselves and their wealthy elite masters is the reason. Unfortunately they no longer subscribe to any rules of conduct, ethics, or respectful behavior in order to achieve their goals.

          There is no longer a line they won't cross.

          It's not even about national policy, about the policy differences people can and do have (and then can and do discuss debate and argue).

          It's that Obama has the Presidency and they do not, he's in their way, and they hate him for it, pure and simple.

          Were the President to not only make every imaginable compromise and concession with these people (and I believe he has), they would still hate his guts without the slightest pause, because (as I said) he's in their way, he has the power that they want.

          It has absolutely nothing to do with anything he does with that authority, and everything to do with simple fact that he has it and they do not but they want it and so they hate his guts and everything he does no matter what...

          Nice, huh?

          Also consider this, that Obama has the authority of the Presidency because we gave it to him, we the majority of the American people, and you know what that means?

          That means that these same people who hate Obama simply for having this authority that they want (and again this is in stark contrast to their perhaps disagreeing with anything he does with that authority), not only do they hate him they hate us also, they hate us and think us stupid and probably evil too, for having elected Obama to the Presidency.

          We, a majority of the American people, who also stand in the way of these people and their mad lust for wealth and power, they hate us too.

      I'm glad that this individual referred to people (and I am presuming here that she was identifying people such as her) who "collect a paycheck", as opposed to those who "earn a living."

      Would Tantaros think that denying health care to millions of Americans is good? That forcing women who become pregnant by rape, or incest to carry a child to term is virtuous? That denying a livable wage and benefits is laudable? That allowing the rich to pay less than their fair share is godly? I could list more, but you get the point.

      The only way this SOTU is "evil" is of Obama suddenly announces martial law, and that anyone who is not a democrat is immediately sentenced to prison without parole, and he takes over the entire country.

      Other than that, he's going to be talking policy and what he would like to get accomplished this coming year.

      I watched the speech and, unlike the average FAUX"News" employee or worshiper, understood every word. It was anything but "divisive" and the "evil" part is hardly worth a mention. In fact; I would say that the speech was a very eloquent invitation to the GOoPers to try and solve our country's problems. I'm pretty sure that the Reichwhiners won't see it that way but then; most of them didn't bother listening.
