Too bad Chris couldn't follow his dads star. He's a hack and Mike needs to have a long talk with that boy.

I watched Daniels' response, and all I could think the entire time was "This would be really fresh and compelling if I had never heard any Republicans say anything, ever,"

Oh, it was funny all right, but not in the way FOXPAC's panel thinks.

Here's the problem. EVERY GOP candidate has, with very little deviation, pushed the exact same GOP/FOXPAC agenda. Essentially, our citizens aren't buying it. Rather than process the feedback or adapt, FOXPAC and the GOP's "brilliant" idea has been to continually hype "some other guy" to push the exact same message as their previous "savior." People aren't that stupid, besides of course, the FOXPAC groupies.

I also believe people are wising up to this whole, "The government can't do anything right" BS promoted by a party so pathetically desperate to get elected to prove exactly that. Think about it. The GOP has no desire to innovate or improve anything. They simply want to dismantle and destroy. Why would you want to hire someone to run something who tells you the thing you're hiring them to run is no good? Why would a rational, intelligent person want to be in charge of something they don't like, unless the intent is only to destroy?

Personally, I thought parts of it were funny. This made me laugh out loud:
"As a loyal opposition, who put patriotism and national success ahead of party or ideology or any self-interest, we say that anyone who will join us in the cause of growth and solvency is our ally, and our friend,"

"Patriotism and national success ahead of party ideology or any-self-interest". Tell you don't burst into laughter hearing a Republican say that. Also:
"We will speak the language of unity."

Do they even know that language or will they have to buy a Rosetta Stone set?

Ah, the famous "Kenneth the Page" response...the one that looked like it was being given from a funeral parlor. Ah, I remember it well. Yep, the bar was just kind of tossed on the floor with that one.

And also, the idea that "Gee, we've been trying so hard to pass bills to help the American people" is complete nonsense.
