I can see it in this guy doocy's contorted face and hear it in his strained voice, that he doesn't want to carry this ball, that this campaign has LOSER written all over it

These people, Fox & Fiends, are going to tell millions upon millions of Americans to shut up their griping about the wealthy and the taxes they don't pay, get back to work with your federal withholding taxes taken from your pay before you even get it, and your no loopholes income taxes...

I don't think this guy doocy wants to really fight the CLASS WAR on this particular front, he knows he's greatly outnumbered, he looks like he wants to run and hide, or at least start claiming a conscientious objection.

I am absolutely certain that these un-Godly oafs would have joined with the Pharisees to badmouth Christ because He was interested in helping the poor. In fact, he made taking care of the poor one of the cardinal tests for being a Christian. Strange that our Party constantly bleats about it's Christian ideals and then behaves like they do regarding the poor. Double standard anyone, ya think?

Absolutely! No one ever wants to read 2 Cornthians 8:9-15 where it speaks of not only giving "willingly" but the Apostle Paul asked them to continue doing so. He then went on to speak of giving in accordance to your abundance and equality. So, actually the progressive tax is biblical in ideology. The question I keep asking the neocons is, "Are we a Christian nation or not." They never answer...Surprised?

Doocy, you're wrong. Obama has been pushing class warfare for a long time.

"Asking a billionaire to pay at least as much as a secretary in taxes? Most Americans would call that common sense."

Most Americans are smart enough to know that the billionaire pays a lot more than a secretary. Obama most not be in that majority. Let's do a little math, Obama. If a secretary made $40,000, and paid 25% taxes that would be $10,000. If bilionaire made only $1,000,000, and paid 15% that would be $150,000.

$10,000 or $150,000. Which is greater? For Obama, and other people who can't figure that out, $150,000 is greater that $10,000.

        A) If a billionaire only made $1,000,000 he'd be more like a millionaire.
        B) The secretary would have only $30,000 left to live on while the 'billionaire' would have $850,000 left. Poor 'billionaire'.
        C) You're an idiot.

KRAUT TANK, The Billionaire ( Buffet) paid only 17% of his entire income in taxes while his secretary( who makes a hell of a lot less than he does),pays 30% of her entire income in taxes. It isn't right, it isn't fair and it needs to be changed. These millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations, need to pay a much higher rate of taxes than the poor and middle class.

When most people talk about billionaires paying less, they are talking about percentage-wise. Everybody knows that when a billionaire actually pays taxes, they logically are paying more than a poor person. But more often than not, they are paying proportionally less than the poor person.

. . .hmmm devoid of context, "if the billionaire only made $1M" his tax would be 150K" which would be in the neighborhood of fair.

A secretary making only $40k is now nearing the poverty cutoff point and would need every dime just to survive.

Oh, good lord, panzer. Which would have a greater impact on a person's livelihood, 25% of $40,000 or 15% of $1 million? A person with $1 million would still have $850,000.00 to live on. A person with $40,000 would have only $30,000.

You're an idiot. These talking points that you repeat are so ludicrous, yet, you consistently and faithfully repeat them as if they are well-thought out and actually mean something. You really should learn to USE your brain and stop repeating this nonsense. A brain atrophies when it is not used.

Let's get real. I'll even help ya with it.

At a "fair" 15% for all...

Millionaire makes $1 mil, pays $150,000; KEEPS $850,000

        Secretary makes %40,000; pays $6,000; KEEPS $34,000

Quit sugar-coating it. "Fair" tax rates on a percentage based equality for all is just another way to help the rich get richer! Are we going to have to wait until no average person can afford to be a consumer thus causing the wealthy to be the only customers of the wealthy? Well, that would be one way to deal with it. They'll destroy one another. Problem is the rest of us can't wait.

There is no reason to pretend we are having a discussion since you have no interest in one. You should just be treated like the punk and troll you are.

You ain't so good at math are you? Only an imbecile would ask if $34,000 and $850,000 were anywhere near the "same amount."

How about I try this...Which is closer to the poverty level, $34,000 or $850,000? (Hint: The 2011 100% poverty level for a family of 4 is $22,350)

On a 15% tax for all the poor stay poor and the rich get richer.

You know it truly amazes me how many working class trolls come on this site to carry water for the rich! Panzy, Boxhead, the rich don't care about you! They don't even think about you! The reason why the free enterprise system works is that you need and educated healthy working class to MAKE and CONSUME the things that the economy produces. If you give a rich man a tax break or an entitlement he puts that money in his pocket. If you give the same to a working person they will SPEND that money! That will further stimulate the economy! Without loyal dedicated intelligent employees NO enterpreneur can run his business. This whole thing is not about envying the rich! It's about treating workers fairly! So Panzy, Boxhead and others if you want to be treated at your workplace like a field slave. Then by all means give up your rights. You probably deserve to be treated like dirt. Just don't expect the rest of American workers to accept that. The American workers deserve better! We are not asking anymore! It's time we DEMAND it!

When persons or corporations pay 15% or nothing(Bank of America,GE,Verizon, etc)while earning millions if not billions,it isn't class warfare. It is class destruction because those earning middle class wages have already lost. They have no way to fight back and may pay higher than 15% which is obviously more of a hardship. In the meantime the millions saved in taxes can be used to lobby or pay lawyers to explot loopholes to pay even less later on.
The middle class guy is paying H&R Block to squeeze a few bucks in additional deductions so he gets a $500 REFUND.
I'm waiting for Romney and Gingrich to get asked about jobs they created last year as earners that qualify as Republican job creators.Camapaign workers don't count since they are paid by campaign fundraising.

And they nickel and dime you to death, to pay for those outrageous executive compensation packages. $3.50 charge to withdraw your own money from another bank's ATM? OK, fair enough, since they tell you about it up front, and you can choose whether or not to continue. How about a stealth $2.00 to check your balance? You don't know about that until you read your statement.
