I'd pay "my respects" if he got so lathered-up that he just keeled over.

Lemme guess -- you popped an oxy and calmed down, right, Limpy?

You realize that if milquetoast Mitch Daniels gives Limpy a panic attack the old tub of lard is going to have a stroke when Obama is re-elected. By the way what was so praiseworthy about Daniels speech? This was Bush's budget director & he is extremely culpable for the mess we're trying to dig our way out of.

What do you expect from a man who after being forced to give up the "birther" rhetoric has had the nerve to publicly doubt the father of two legitimate children about whether or not he has yet lost his "virginity?" What's next? Maybe asking Malia and Sasha to take DNA tests to prove the POTUS isn't?

Bottom of the barrel? No. This man has to climb a fire ladder to even be able to reach the bottom of the barrel

I can't tell. Who's off message? Was Daniels off message by kind of insinuating that the presidency (and by proxy Obama) deserves respect or did Rush miss the memo about Fox's swooning over Daniels bland and underwhelming response?

Is that really so shocking? It wouldn't have phased him when Bush was in office. In fact he probably said himself back then.

This was a mild one, not nearly as intense as the one he had after hearing that Hostess was going bankrupt.

Yikes. I don't always subject myself to playing these clips of Lispy, but does anybody else find it as incoherent as I did?

The first minute and a half is semi-coherent, if pretty much empty babbling, but at about the 1:30 mark, he just goes off the rails. Talking to unheard voices, or voices in his head, a bunch of sentence fragments and Madonna and JFK and Cookie. Lispy really seems to be losing that half of his brain that he claims to be using.

I did get a good LOL out of his thumbnail review of Daniels' speech as "really, really good" ( repeated twice). Homer Simpson once complimented the author of a vocabulary-building book he'd read with the same words. But that was supposed to be funny.

Agreed - his brain was fried. He was high on Daniels alright, but I tend to think it wasn't Mitch, it was Jack washing down some pills.

Sometimes when I listen to Limbaugh on Monday, he is more hyper, and nuttier than he is on Tuesday. Usually by Wednesday, he is just back to his old rude, obnoxious self.

Limbaugh was off on Tuesday; wanna bet he binged on Tuesday.

Listening to the mixed reactions to Daniels' speech has been really funny. "Some say" he was brilliant, well-spoken, and are asking why he didn't run for president while "others said" it was boring, a snooze-fest, and sounded Marxist.

The GOP is really doing itself in during this election cycle.
