NYT runs correction to October 4 article headlined: "Miers Was Leader in Effort Within Bar to Rescind Support for Abortion"

Read the New York Times' correction here.
Media Matters had noted the error.

Well, my guess is that the Times would have run a correction with or without the MMFA posting on the topic. It was a pretty basic error. I hope MMFA doesn't separate a shoulder patting itself on the back. Now, if they would only examine some of Krugmans columns...
Please read the first few sentences here: [link to mediamatters.org]
When you're done, type "Krugman" in the Search window and read three or four of the 48 results returned.
Now, do you get it?
Oh please! You just hate Krugman because he point out how full of crap Greenspan and this administration's policies are!!!
You don't find corrections because the truth doesn't need to be corrected.

First of all, it is incorrect to say that I hate Paul Krugman because I don't even know the man. I have, however, seen many of his columns deconstructed piece by piece on several occasions. That would NOT be the focus of this website, however. I just threw it in there as an afterthought.
MMFA is filling a void. They're dissecting the Republican Propaganda machine's misinformation as it's never been done before; it is a public service. As you have pointed out, there are plenty of people out there trashing the Liberal columnists; why should MMFA duplicate their efforts?
