You see this kind of thing all the time. If they aren't willfully misrepresenting the numbers of a "real" poll, they're making up biased polls of their own.

Two examples from today:

UPI.com [link to www.upi.com] The AMA is conducting a poll on "Are frivolous lawsuits raising your health care costs?" as if this polling means anything.

Townhall.com[link to www.townhall.com] Are asking "Should the US immediately withdraw all our troops from Iraq?" While not as egregious as the AMA example, this question is far from meaningful since almost no one is advocating that the US leave "immediately", right now, without delay, this instant. What I've heard is "begin" an immediate withdraw.
